I thought they were done as well as some of the Pixar shows sometimes even better in terms of the meaning and diversity lol The cells are so well made and such an important part of the show. Without the cells this show loses at least 50% of its charms lol

But it’s not even about Yumi’s boys? Love is a big part of Yumi’s life but it isn’t everything about her self discovery journey into growing up. Hence, the title being “Yumi’s Cells”

But he doesn’t know what happened between Woong and Saeyi tho. From his point of view, of course it’s normal to wanting to be the one to talk them back into being friends

For Babi, I think that’s only because the directing. You can notice same thing with Saeyi, we don’t see her character when she’s not being used as a tool in Woong x Yumi’s relationships so we have no idea who she and Babi are as a person. I understand there’s not much time in the drama so they have to omit some parts from the webtoon to make the story flows better.

Also at this point the director and writer want people to be suspicious of Babi’s actions? It’s a drama after all, you need some kind of dynamic to make it fun and keep audience in the dark. From what I see it, it’s just pretty common coworker relationships. It only seems sus because that’s the only scenes we can see of Babi lol

I do like Yumi going to Woong first tho. Sometimes in relationships it doesn’t matter who’s right or wrong to make the first move. It’s the results that matter and I am so glad Yumi grew enough to realize that :)

After watching ep9 and 10, I am so glad they took care of Saeyi’s part so soon! Because then we can truly see why they are not working out in the remaining episodes :)

In the webtoon, He wasn’t the worst boyfriend during the dating per se, he was way too perfect lol The author didn’t like it so he wrote him with a bad break up but Babi as a boyfriend was too good to be true lol Author said he can’t see any shortcomings from Babi so he dislikes the character LOL

I totally feel the same. They seem not really having a deep connection so far

Haha, I think we should want Yumi to put herself in first and let that be her character growth then 😆

I think for me, I get why he needs to die but they could have just let the male lead dad knows this is not the girl lol? At that moment the three of them knows what’s happening so it’s a much worst situation for them to have killed the brother off than “revealing the secret” (that both adults in that chase scene knew) lol They should have just yelled “this is the son” lol

Babi is so quick witted and sensible. He can sense Yumi is wary and so he quickly shared he has girlfriend every time they meet and that the compliment about her hair is just a small talk to show he has no intention for romance to Yumi (at this time). And the way he explained was also so smart? His attention to details and people’s emotions is really <3

I think I just need to see more of why the relationship is not working out instead of blaming it all on Saeyi. She was one of the reasons but DEFINITELY NOT the only reason. There are bigger issues from both Woong and Yumi, that way we can see characters growth just like the webtoon. There are still 6 episodes and a season 2, so I am counting on you, Director and writer :) Please don’t make it just a SFL “Saeyi” problem!

I think what’s best in the webtoon is showing the characters’ shortcomings. But the main lead is Yumi so character growth is mainly on her by being in new relationships (and saying good byes) and learning things

But everyone should have their own as #1 lol never let a guy or a girl to be ranked higher than yourself ☺️

In the webtoon they broke up solely because of their own problems lol Babi and Yumi didn’t influenced each other’s relationships at all before the break ups

Because the drama is about Yumi and her cells. Boyfriends and relationships are just a part of ones life. No matter who you end up with, you are always your own main lead and only main lead :)

She’s not worried that he doesn’t like her, but Saeyi is a type of very skillful manipulator. Most people will feel uncomfortable in these situations. I won’t really call it looking for problems myself haha it’s too relatable hahahaha

Probably for the writer’s controversy but the drama is getting better and better

I dropped this one at ep1 just didn’t feel it. But I think September dramas are crazily strong lol. Yumi’s Cells and Dali and The Cocky Prince are the light but heartfelt shows. People love hometown cha cha cha (I am still on ep1 tho maybe the leads just aren’t my type but I will watch it eventually), One The Woman and The Veil are both incredibly strong. One is a funny cider another one is more serious. Hometown as a slow burn mystery thriller is doing it’s tricks as well.

Haha I feel you, but there are actually plenty of dramas I recalled? The two I mentioned are really really good, but also recent ones like Hometown Chachacha, You are my Spring, or something like You Are My First Life and Search: WWW, to older classics like 9 Ends 2 Outs. There are many more matured romance stories that are not struggling marriage type haha.
