If the writer was thinking half the amount that you guys think,
now we could have a better drama not that salad of unecessary tragedy with characters all over the place and nonsense actions.

That is called lousy writing:
you create a character with X traits
but then you conveniently change his basic X traits
just to fit to the audience's illusions for the perfect guy.
The story is purely made to touch women's hearts, creating a "bad-but good on the core of him" guy
Not to mention that 15yo girl in those times, was a woman-the life span was almost half than now. Girls were getting married in that exact age of 15-16
The whole thing is over the place

Imperfection would be to have a FL spoiled, a bit airhead etc.
Its not imperfection to be responsible for a guy's death, or trying for years to steal your best friend's man right in front of her eyes and especially when she is such a kind person.
Sorry, but looks like your criteria for people are far away from mine.
My life values dont accept these traits in people.
Of course we're talking about a fictional character, but since we also talk about morals, yes thats it. She is a bad person.
And i really adore antiheroes and "bad" girls and boys-as long as the writer doesnt try to convince me that they are good.
Is a hero bad? Leave him as he/she is. Dont try to justify sh@tty characters, theres no need-unless you are a lousy writer-which is the case right now.
The whole romance failed and thats why so many people-especially westerns who dont know the rules of kdramas-ask if the FL will be in 2nd part.

Yeap, it had element for building a drama like you described if all those elements were elaborated (especially the hot: "upper and lower classes in a war") to show the fake nature of wars and patriotism which leads thousands of poor lower class people to certain death so that the upper ones get more power money and land.
But sadly the chose an ill fated romance which also is not done in a satisfying way. Just unnecessary tragedy of a pull and push couple

Its a personal projection cause there was nothing like that shown on the show.

A woman so young but still so sh@tty character that she persistently tries to pursue her bf's fiance for years, even in front of her own eyes,
a woman sho sends to death 2 men just for her fun,
is not family oriented-though i dont even like family oriented people.
Its just the standard hypocritical style of "family oriented people" who have the family orientation as an excuse for every bs they do.
If the writer wanted a family oriented person-a true one-she should not write such a sh@tty character to begin with.
In addition, a character doesnt grow in a few months not in 2 years just because a war happened (and she still tried to pursue the bf's fiance through the war-so where exactly is the change).
But ok i understand your thoughts because most people eat the bait of "family" values.

Its the scriptwriter's fault. Very unreasonable indeed. Usually when the writer cant build the dynamics between the couple, uses such misunderstandings to create unecessary tragedy.

Actually he always gives a decent acting performance and he never got a complicated demanding role-very good choice -he always picks simple characters that he can pull off.
All in all, thats the reason you wont see complaints about his mediocre acting,
Extra plus: he always has great chemistry with his co actresses and the whole cast and in general he's got a vibe of a nice sweet person which saves the day.
Personally i love watching great acting-who doesnt? but i also appreciate limited skilled actors who make good choices and know their limits (meaning the wont be ridiculed giving a zero worthy performance)

Trick or love. Taiwanese. Funny, light. Unless you want of another genre so i can suggest you more.
They also say that Moving is great (im about to start it these days) the cast is top and the story looks interesting. Jo In Sung never disappoints with his script choices

I just wanted to point out that he did a tremendous attempt to participate to a war that was not even in his plans, just to ensure that she will live in a better world (100% unrealistic action but ok lets digest that too)

Its incredibly sad and a bit horrifying that so many people would not like the FL to follow ML and leave her family behind
But at the same time they digested easily that she sent literally 2 men to their certain death, manipulating the one by promising marriage and even sex earlier so that her disgusting crush on her bf fiance get jealous while also asking him to protect her useless crush during battle which eventually led to the guy s death.

And other "good" life values are proven once again to be the curse of humanity.
