After || Jihun dipped for a year, || Baek Mari || used her privilege and nepotism to get a job at her grandpa's form, and went right back to helping capitalists crush the working class. || With 0 self reflection. Very cool.
this is one of the best mystery/crime jdramas I've seen so far. every episode is riveting, all these twists and turns... I hope the rest of the episodes are just as good.
but what is even going on with this drama? it was so fun and comedic, it was nice seeing them take on the bad guys to protect the vulnerable and defenseless. this revenge & corruption plot is just not that entertaining and we've seen it done so many times before. I actually got through the 2 episodes of backstory, it wasn't that bad... EP. 9 was a return to form but everything afterwards is a mess, you can tell they're making it up as they go along. I hope ep. 12 magically makes this drama good again... or we get a second season.
i actually really liked this week's episodes. star of the shows was the poor husband & wife but the FL and ML are good people, even if they fight like cats and dogs.
