I feel like most of the time, the grandfather doesn't speak Korean but Japanese. Is it a different dialect or…
i had the same thought! I don't even speak Korean, but I can tell he's speaking it very differently. it could be a dialect, but his generation was very influenced by the Japanese, so that also makes sense. it's also very noticeable when his daughter imitated his way of speaking lol
I liked seeing him take apart FL's idea that she's any less privileged than the rest of the elites ... Despite coming from a family of wealthy prosecutors and lawyers
wasn't expecting the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to show up in a kdrama, especially this one, but here we are. then again, if there's anyone who needs the Guide and to know where their towel, it's these froods.
this drama is so good. and Hyeri is so damn cute. after the accident the way she said "Im hurt 🥺🥺🥺" and kept whining... if I was him, I would have melted on the spot. also lol at the way she tucked him into bed like he a stubborn kid.and I love how patient and calm she is. she doesn't force him to open up on his trauma, she lets him tell her when he feels ready, after building up rapport and trust. maybe that's why he opens up to her and not to his ex gf/fiancee.this man has already fallen for her hard... the way he can't stop looking at her. probably not the best news for all the other drivers on the road tho 🤣the camping trip was so sweet. Tae-hee and Dong-joo are the nicest Hyung and Noona, I love how they took care of the kid and consoled him.my only criticisms are SFL and the editing. Chun-ha is a highly educated, intelligent and accomplished woman, working as a doctor. why are they writing her character to be so desperate and immature and lonely? seems kinda off to me idk, just my opinion. as for the editing, the sequence of events in EP. 8 was a lil confusing - them going to the grandma's countryside, changing the portrait, the funeral, her passing - it could have been better put together.
I'm still Team Shion but what about you guys? I wonder if you'll sympathize with Mitsuki once you hear her side of things.
