This is why Netflix needs to add more Japanese movies and dramas. I really enjoyed this movie a lot. At first I thought it was slow but, after the twist, it picked up steam. It was really well written and realistic. All the characters were flawed and human. The cinematography and production value was off the charts. But the acting... My god, the acting was amazing. The confrontation at the end had me spellbound! I really recommend watching this movie! 9.5/10 from me.
Honoka Matsumoto really surprised me. She has such an innocent face and her character In This Corner of the World.... She pulled off her role in this as a many sided person and a cheater really well. She is a really good actress with range and I really wish more of her movies and dramas got subbed.
This movie was so cute! I really enjoyed it, I just wish they spent more time on them as a couple. The cinematography was so good, I kept taking screenshots XD
Overall, I enjoyed Season 3 much more than Season 2, I feel. As usual there were weak episodes but even these were moving and interesting and better than your average crime drama. The strong episodes were flat out amazing. Please give this a season a try.
Is Ishikawa gonna straight up raise Makoto herself or is she gonna put him up for adoption? Captain Ishikawa as a mom is gonna be interesting to explore. Also, those scenes of her taking the kid to the office with Takagi and Officer Grandpa having to take care of him... it was so cute.
this actually sounds really interesting. We need more Asian zombie dramas, I'm really enjoying Kimi to Sekai ga Owaru Hi ni right now, and we need more content like that. Hope it's as dark but deep as Extracurricular.
Now if only Netflix spent so much money, time and effort on making Jdrama Originals. Like, Alice in Borderland, Switched and Erased were all really good, they need to make more like that.
