I wish we leftists had as much control over the entertainment industry as right wingers think. I mean regardless of what the student knew or wanted, assuming they were a minor, they can't make mature decisions as an adult can. Even if they weren't a minor, a teacher should never cross the line like that, it goes against all ethics. Asian dramas tend to have these kinds of relationships and it always makes me uncomfortable.
That being said, we haven't seen that Grandpa had repented or no. Based on the comment he made, he probably still sees it as a joke. But since, as you say, we don't have all the details, I won't get too angry, but I'm still grossed out.
