nice to see other people made the same switch as well. I went from kdramas to majority jdramas as well. Weird thing is, I used to be very selective and like only crime or mystery dramas but now I watch jdramas of all genres, even manga adaptations XD
Nowadays, I occasionally watch a sci-fi or fantasy or crime kdrama if they even seem interesting,

people think that jdramas are all overacting and cringe and silly storylines bc they watched a LA adaptation one time.

The affair makes me uncomfortable too but let me watch ep. 8 and tell you if it's a big part of the plot.

This man really coded an app using Perl to hack into an electric car in a matter of seconds while being attacked by men in black. Computer Science majors are shaking.

I wish we leftists had as much control over the entertainment industry as right wingers think. Maybe then out celebrities would have the courage to speak about lynchings of Muslims or talk about the RSS or support the farmer's protests. Maybe then we would have more movies and shows about the realities of life for the minorities in India...

They have a lot of racist attitudes towards South Asians and Africans in Korea. Enjoy Korean content by all means but never forget this fact.

I mean regardless of what the student knew or wanted, assuming they were a minor, they can't make mature decisions as an adult can. Even if they weren't a minor, a teacher should never cross the line like that, it goes against all ethics. Asian dramas tend to have these kinds of relationships and it always makes me uncomfortable.

That being said, we haven't seen that Grandpa had repented or no. Based on the comment he made, he probably still sees it as a joke. But since, as you say, we don't have all the details, I won't get too angry, but I'm still grossed out.
