I get scared by the fact that there are 160+ episodes too. But these taiga and asadora(?) dramas also have a lot of the actresses/actors I like so I have to start watching them at some point.

Battle of Changsha was one of the best Mandarin-language dramas I have watched so far. So good my entire family became obsessed. We tried to watch A Touch of Green but it just wasn't the same.

To paraphrase myself, Train has managed to execute the parallel worlds concept and have a better romance subplot in 8 episodes than all 16 episodes of TKEM. I honestly wish Train got the same degree of attention and hype.

But Seo-kyung just doesn't have romantic feelings for Do-won A. She spent so much time hating the entire Seo family the best we can expect is a grudging friendship tempered with grief, guilt and trauma. But yeah, she should try living in World A, it's not like she has that many ties to World B.

Honestly one of the best dramas of 2020! We all saw it coming that Ms. Oh was involved in one way or another but the reveals were still so satisfying.

It's actually very common in history lol but usually with child rulers, especially in the Roman Empire. But it could happen oftentimes with adult kings and queens too. The problem with a monarchy is the person who controls the monarch controls the kingdom.

it was one of the first dramas I watched but looking back on it was realllly slow and kinda boring at times. Good, mind you, but not as good as I thought it was when I first watched it.

Honestly, this one was really good. I was trying to see what else Yamamoto Mizuki was in and, boy, am I glad stumbled onto this film. At first, I thought it'd be good only to pass the time. The book it was based had very low reviews so I didn't have high hopes that this was some of sort of masterpiece. However, while it may not be a masterpiece, it's definitely one of the best in the crime and mystery genres.

I can see why Japanese movies have such a good reputation. The cinematography and production value were off the charts. Every actor did an amazing job, especially Iwata Takanori. The story was easy to follow but will still leave you in a state of suspense while giving you little clues for to try to solve the mystery on your own. This movie 100% surpassed the source novel; I struck copper and found gold. 9.0/10, definitely recommend for anyone who is into mystery/suspense/crime/thriller genres.

One of the most fucked up movies in my life. The story and acting were good and there was technically nothing wrong with it but it made my blood boil. Watching it gave me physical discomfort.... and this was all a real story, real educators raped and tortured numerous children with disabilities. The only silver lining is that this movie ensured that at least some of the rapists and abusers were punished for their crimes. This is one of those movies you watch not because you'll enjoy it but because the victims deserve to have their stories heard.

Lynn and Grace are so attractive and honestly that was 50% of the reason I finished this movie. The first half of the movie is kinda slow but it really ramps up in the second and the suspense and the thriller aspects are top notch. Every person is a bad person to some degree but damn if Lynn is a smart badass female character you don't always get to see. For novices, everyone acted really well. I would definitely recommend watching if you're bored and don't know what else to watch. 8.5/10.

I hated what they did to Bank's character. Lynn basically corrupted him and ruined his entire future and never once apologized but still pretends like she had the moral high horse. Honestly, comrade Bank, go on with the cheating schemes. Get that bread and buy your mom a mansion.

I know there was a lot of hype around this drama but the synopsis sounded very dry to me. I thought I'd give it a chance because I was impressed by Suda Masaki in Hiraagi-sensei's Classroom and I was pleasantly surprised. At first, it was a bit slow but after that I was enjoying myself immensely. Except for an episode or two, the plotting was exquisite. As one reviewer somewhere mentioned, each episode's story could have been expanded into a movie of its own; on a rare occasion where an episode didn't land quite right, it was still good compared to other mystery show.

The cinematography and production values were off the charts, many scenes looked like they could be paintings. The acting was uniformly excellent; as usual, Suda Masaki was fantastic, the bromance/chemistry with Yamada Takayuki was palpable, and the actress playing the sister did a good job as did the guest actors (shoutout to Hashimoto Ai!). The music wasn't spectacular but it got me into the vibe of the show and the emotions of the story. I would definitely recommend this drama to people who like suspense, thriller, mystery, detective genres. 9/10.

As a computer science major, it's not exactly super realistic but still better than most movies or TV shows. That said, I couldn't help smiling when Kei said (hacker voice) "I'm in", word for word.

Lol, you might not be an Indian citizen but if your parents or grandparents are from India, you're at least of Indian heritage. But that's neither here nor there.

Calling yourself or someone "brown" is a second-gen term, something people whose parents immigrated from India to a Western country would say. No one in India calls themselves brown kyunki idhar hum sab "brown" hai, there are no white people or whatever to define ourselves against. It has nothing to do with "class or caste," it just sounds weird to us. Based on my own experiences as an Indian immigrant, most of us don't find it racist or offensive most of the time, it's just strange to us.
