They never did explain what Rin's relationhip to Shusaku was. She did say he was her "customer" but he doesn't seem like that type of person so I would have liked to see some closure on that before poor Rin died.
Binged watched this entire drama in three days. One of the best Japanese dramas I've seen, and comparable to Battle of Changsha in quality. Literally nothing major happened in the first few episodes but family-level angst but it still so engaging but then last four episodes came and the drama became even better. Me and my entire family were lowkey tearing up. Melancholy but also beautiful and filled with comedic, wholesome moments. Suzu and Shusaku are one of the best couples in drama history tbh. Do not miss this drama, it's a 10/10 from me.
