Too many speculations from dark melon accounts. I really don’t think it’s the 3rd ML since his other up and coming drama is still up on IQIYI platform, plus his social accounts are unmuted.

The reservation went up to 4.6M now…. Possibly 5M by tomorrow. Guess no need for promotion since there’s already so much heat with this drama. Hopefully we get at least 1 day notice.

This drama is based on an awarded winning novel, plus the script is written by the same writer as ordinary greatness. Hopefully this drama can bring more accolades and recognition to Bai Lu.

I’d love to see her play a undercover cop/ spy or mysterious assassin…. Something like Mr and Mrs smith. She got cool vibe and will be perfect for these type of roles.

Supposedly the author of the novel is also the scriptwriter for this drama. If true, it’s definitely a plus! Really looking forward to see Bai Lu as JXN!

Don’t get too disappointed when it doesn’t come out on the 18th. Often times
gossip melon accounts start these rumors and when it doesn’t come out on that date, they then starts to speculate problems with the drama all for clickbait.

It’s a rumor date started from douban. There’s no confirmation but iQIYI wants to release this drama in Q2 this year, guess it can also be in June?

She definitely has good chemistry with all of her co-stars. It really helps when she has good/ outgoing personality, ppl are comfortable around her.

CP fans get a bit too excited sometimes but to have too many collaborations doesn’t help the actor’s success in the long run. How can he/she widened its fan base if the drama is watched by the same audience.

CXL is interesting. It’s a historical crime solving drama, plus it is female centric… perfect for bai Lu. I just hope she gets to pair different actors for future projects, no more 2nd collaboration. I want to see fresh new CP.

I’m sooo over with Youku and that drama.
So fishy right! There can be many more reasons for the mistreatment which we don’t know…, I did notice the ML has another up and coming drama with Youku and as to why they treated the 2FL way better… I read somewhere in Weibo that she signed a contract with them for some small stuff.

I think the production team were more concerned about his character and didn’t care much about the rest of the cast, plus they spent too much time on his backstory (I was so bored). Also, some of his bad deeds from the novel were written/ transferred into the 2nd FL storyline… he’s definitely a saint in the drama.

Yup. I only watch TTEOTM because bai Lu is in it, such a let down with that production team.

I tried not to watch any c-drama with young idols cast as leads. They might have their fan audience to support them but they lack acting skills and often times it’s a lower quality drama.

I know, let’s hope. The last novel I read was from TTEOTM. That was such a disappointment. Why buy the rights to the novel if they are just going to change so much of it? It really has nothing to do with censorship… I think some actor just doesn’t want to get hated for the character they portray so the writers whitewashed it.

I think they are probably going spend a majority of the time in her second life to right the wrong from her previous life. Let’s hope they stay true to the novel and not whitewash the characters like some other drama.
