She is a good actress, just look at her past dramas other than TTEOTM. They edited and cut out too much from her and the dubbing was horrible… they probably changes the script after it was filmed, the dubbing didn’t even match her lip movements at times. I can feel more of her emotions and line delivery in her behind the scenes from Youku clips. The post production team did a lot of the cast dirty, the only person they didn’t mess up is the ML.

Did you watch all her dramas? She played a variety of different characters… for example, she played a disguise man in arsenal military academy, a cop in ordinary greatness, a female general in untouchable lovers…. Her roles are rarely repetitive. But of course she’s not a top 1st tier actress yet, so her offers may be limited.

I started to follow her since 2019 after watching her in the legends. I watched all her dramas and variety shows, she’s multi talented individual.

I read somewhere either 1- she didn’t have time or 2- the TTEOTM production didn’t need her to dub because of changes to that script (notice a lot of the dubbing didn’t match her lip movements in TTEOTM). Don’t know which one is true but yes, I too love her voice in this trailer.

Right, the trailer is so good and it summed up the drama beautifully. Plus, bai Lu is dubbing herself, so excited.

Love the new trailer, can’t wait. There’s no release date yet but I read each platform can only release a limited amount of historical dramas. Currently IQIYI is airing the ingenious one, maybe this after?

I don’t think IQIYI has much S+ series, unlike Youku and Tencent. Even with One and Only (IQIYI production) is A series… so a S is already a pretty good budget drama with this platform.

I think it takes place in the early 90s…. Modern then. Hope she can do another xianxia where she’s the main protagonist.

I had a feeling the script would favor the ML since he is the first billing plus his agency is one of the investors in the production… oh well, hope she learns from this experience.

So true, they treat her like a one of the side leads… maybe worse, at least the side leads had cool fight scenes. IQIYI treats her so much better, looking forward to SOKP.

Right. Even the bad guys has cool fights scenes… why can she? Since she gets her power back in the immortal arc, I thought I would be able to see some action from her, very disappointing.

Same here. I’m watching TTEOTM because she’s the FL but the drama is getting messy (only focus on the ML) and I don’t like how her character is being written. I’m looking forward to this one now.

It makes no sense to me either. Guess the writer/editor wants it that way… She was dreaming to being knocked out between yesterday and today’s episode, very frustrating. I want to see LSS in action…,

Haha…. From reading the comments here, I see a lot of ppl here probably choose option 2 and let the world burn. They don’t really get the bigger picture.
