Sure this drama is a very popular drama in China but the word of mouth is not great. Hope it all works out in the end.

Bai Lu’s popularity is rising, lots of ppl are trying to bring her down. Too many antis making so much negative noise and magnifying minor issues, it’s drowning any positive feedback.
No doubt the ML is a great actor but TTEOFM is hard selling his emotional/ dramatic scenes to the point it makes no sense to me. I’m also not crazy with how much time wasted on showing the viewers how pitiful he is. Even today’s episode…. Enough already, the drama is getting draggy.

Yes. Hope bai lu can choose her project wisely going forward (consider things like director, screenwriter ,broadcast platform and co stars). She was the 2nd billing with One and Only but that was a fair production and the end result is great and now that drama is almost a classic. With TTEOTM, I read that the ML’s agency is one of the investors with that production… of course they are going to highlight his role.

I read the warning letter, it specifically listed a number of melon accounts that had/ has been spreading false rumors for sometime. The letter also mentioned that they are not going after normal netizen. Again, I have no faith with her agency in pursuing justice….all talk, no bark.

Her agency is useless. There’re a few melon accounts constantly spreading false rumors about her but her agency only issued a warning letter and that has nothing to do with what she issued the apology for. Her agency is really cheap, no way they will spend the money on lawsuits.

Yes. It was an old interview from when she was in the legend. She described her character as little female dog but she meant as a cute way. I read some antis are getting paid per each nasty comment on weibo (I don’t know how true is that). However there’re alot of non active weibo accounts spreading nasty comments about her, very suspicious.

Plus that interview was from 2019, it wasn’t a problem then, why’s a problem now. These antis are combing through all her old videos to see if they can embarrass her with. It’s crazy!

Sure, these antis/ haters are so offended and yet they leave hateful comments that’s more offensive to BL? Crazy! Theses haters will always find a reason to hate with or without an apology.

Right! I understand they had to shorten to 40 episodes but still no excuse for such as high budget drama, maybe they can get new editors and re-release the drama haha.

Same. I saw some ppl on weibo are petitioning for Youku to re-edit that scene…

That line makes no sense to me. She already found out the truth and obviously she loves him. There’s no more misunderstanding nor hate at that point; the script writer is confusing me.

Maybe… I didn’t get too emotional as compared to the wedding/ dungeon scenes.

Right. The tower scene is one of the highlight of the drama… I was a bit disappointed…also with so many bgm to choose from for that scene, I thought it could have done better. BL and LYX’s acting saved that scene, no thanks to the director.

Haha. If he ends up to be the ML, then I’m also looking forward to the behind the scene videos since they’re both outgoing and funny individuals.

Wow the acting with our main leads in Episode 26 was top notch! I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Great job BL and LYX!

Everyone had their scenes cut, I don’t see anything to support the 90%. I’d like if they just spent a little more time with her background, so ppl can understand her actions better. However, there’s difference between first billing vs second billing in chinese drama land. Don’t get too upset.

Just rumor but the chances are high since they both did a lot of IQIYI dramas and this one is produced by IQIYI, fingers crossed.

He’s a good actor. Hopefully is true, they will be great as screen couple.

She minds as well be a villain if that was the case.
