I read the novel a while back. He was definitely more heartless… really only care for himself. He really didn’t care much about his kingdom-the novel didn’t focus too much on what kind of king he is.

Guess the script writer wants conflicts between our main leads. Two folds: 1- to cause TTJ’s jealousy 2- to allow 2nd FL opportunity to cause more misunderstanding to speed things up. It’s very frustrating to watch at this point… I want to jump ahead to the tower scene already.

Yes some changes are warranted but I don’t like how they completely whitewashed TTJ’s character. For example, I never got the sense that he’s a good king from the novel and it seems that all the evil actions are being played out by the 2nd FL. He’s supposed to be a morally grey character. I wouldn’t be surprised if TTJ chooses Susu during the tower scene the way is going. Like I said this is probably the last time I’ll ever read a novel before the drama airs.

Right? He hasn’t lived up to his character’s description yet. I’d love to see some evilness behavior… would be cool to watch.

She also did a variety show with the cast from SOKP. I wonder if that comes out before or after the drama aired….
