It’s taking too long with Youku….the way is going, Bai Lu’s other drama SOKP may come out before this (Q2 according to IQIYI).

SOKP just reached 2 million reservations! Go Bai Lu, can’t wait!

Interesting story but i wonder if bai lu will take on another re- birth story. She already filmed something similar with SOKP.

Non-confirmed rumor. I doubt Bai Lu will have time for this project as she’s somewhat confirmed to start Northwards in June. Currently she’s still filming Only for Love.

Personally I’m not crazy about the platform- Youku. It’s has been over one year since Bai Lu wrapped up TTEOTM and Youku has yet to confirm a release date for that drama… too long of a wait. iQIYI is more reliable and less wait time.

Yup not hopeful at all…I think it’s has been over a year since this drama wrapped up. That’s why I prefer iqiyi over youku where they don’t play games with viewers’ expectations.

Very annoying, why can Youku be straight forward with their dramas’ schedule.

Right!? why didn’t the other author bought it up over a year ago… either way, hope this drama airs sooner than later before other possible (made up/ faked) issues…

I read that bai Lu chose this drama partially was because of the director; she worked with him in One and Only. I hope it all works out in the end (having to deal with all the craziness) since she has a good eye on script, plus it is supposedly a broadcast drama (not just webcast), which it’s a plus- with wider audience.

According to IQIYI, Kunning Palace should be out 2nd quarter of next year… maybe around June? There should be no conflict with broadcasting time between 2 dramas.

Hopefully the ML of her next drama is not a traffic star… maybe someone similar to the ML in ordinary greatness would be nice.

By now, after so much complaints about her clothes and the production has yet to make any changes to her wardrobe or fire the stylist … I’m starting to wonder if the stylist got his job by knowing some higher ups or someone relative… very frustrating.

I read that this drama is centered around the male lead and he will have most of the screen time… hopefully whatever BL chooses, her next drama will be a serious drama to showcase her wonderful acting skills.

I’ve been following her for a few years now… so it’s definitely very hurtful to see negative comments about her. Like you, there was a few times I had to stop reading weibo to keep my sanity lol. I probably have to cut off weibo when TTEOTM comes out next year…you know what I mean.

At least let Bai Lu wears cheaper brands that fits to reflect the wealth difference …. Like you said, hopefully it does looks better in camera cause BL’s haters are using those blurry leaked pics to make nasty comments about her and this drama on weibo.

Even the 2nd FL has better outfits than her!? 2nd fl wore a fitted white blazer/ mini skirt with heels while bai lu wore a red dress that was a size too big with clunky tall boots… wth!

I don’t think the production stylist ever read or understand this novel… the FL is supposed to be in her mid 20s, but by the looks on the set, the FL looks like she’s been wearing her mom’s clothes… nothing fits and very dated. Maybe it’s time to hire another stylist… a more youthful one?

Haha the jacket is still too boxy and I’m not crazy about the socks/loafers combo. Hopefully those looks are just for outdoor scenes. I read some say that they’re going for a more K-drama looks… sometimes I wonder if Bai Lu has any say on styling?

On a positive note, at least we get to see those 2 ugly outfits on day 1 of filming, there’s more than enough time for them to make changes- hopefully?
