rumor from Weibo- July now ... (was June).

Not really sure... I don't have a Weibo acct so I can only read a limited amount of the posts and I can't go back to when exactly the mess started, but it seemed like maybe a few of Bai lu's fans complaining about a 2nd collaboration (possibly due to the fact that LYX's fan attacked her once before...) and LYX's fans found out it all went downhill from there.

I was on Weibo... I can read some Chinese, it's really crazy how LYX fans attacked bai lu ... almost non-stop since this morning (different time zone) and it's still going on- almost day 2. I feel so bad for her and her fans since LYX has a much larger fan base (almost 2.5X more than her in Weibo) thus his fans has the manpower to go on and on with the attacks. Couldn't LYX tell his fans to cool down a bit... I understand he doesn't want to upset his fans but come on, especially he knows what she went through with XK's toxic fans.

I really did want a 2nd collaboration with them but after this, it's probably best not to .... no reason to take on the abuse.

Hope is Bailu as FL (heard some rumors from Weibo)... She will be great for the role.

haha I noticed too (I rewatched certain scenes and now Love is Sweet's background is drilled into my head)... probably the same apartment, just re-paint and decor change.

talk about love is sweet, I think FL's apartment is same as Bai lu's apartment in LIS...

I think the airing date 1/25 is based on rumors... I went over to Weibo today to see, there's no news yet.

I'm a fan of Bai Lu and I check on her drama listing from time to time but I can't help but notice the rating for all her dramas are lowered even the older ones which was consistently the same until recent weeks.... guess there're a lot of haters out there...

I'm watching JLO now. Overall it's not bad considering that it's a low budget web drama. The only negatives for me 1- voice are dubbed. 2- Bai Lu has better chemistry with 2nd ML (ML eventually loosen up- toward the mid-later episodes.) 3- Story a bit lacking-for ex. it took a while to solve the missing gold thread case.

I'm looking forward to Song of Youth and Forever and Ever. These 2 dramas have higher budgets and with more well known casts.

Rumor on Weibo, Song of Youth might come out February 2021, let's hope.

Bai Lu is not perfect but she has great potential, compare her to experience veteran actresses wouldn't be fair. Among new comers, I also like Zhao Lusi but her acting range has been limited by the roles she accepted. At least from what I read on Weibo, she will be getting better scripts with bigger productions since her drama trotar was a big hit this year.

Agree, she's one of the better one among the new comer. I wouldn't even watch this drama if wasn't for her. If the director wants her to act bratty, arrogant and ignorant, what can she do. Hopefully she can get better script and ML with the success from LIS. I'm looking forward to see her in Forever and Ever.

He was also in Lucky's First Love with Bai lu as 2nd ML.
