Would be great seeing that!!! Writers should develop not just leaving the character disabled and top it always…
Ikr?! Do producers not realize that a blind FL assassin would be sooo badass? Pretending to be a weak and recluse rich person but in reality they are strong and intuitive AF. Kind of like Toph in Avatar!
After watching episode 8 (loved), I’m curious.... are there any romance/action dramas with an HEA where the female or male lead is naturally deaf, mute, or blind and stays that way? I’d love to see a character like a skilled blind martial artist. It would be awesone to see a lead train with their disability and still become a savage, Daredevil style lol.
Is she so weak at the beginning because she has a wound? Or because she hasn't fought in a long time? Is the doing…
It's a mix of both, she was hurt from the fall and the poisoning AND she didnt want to be too obvious. I also have a feeling that the ML was slightly better in martial arts than her, at least with certain weapons like the spear.
I'm really enjoying this FL, she's intelligent, compassionate (not overly), has a good sense of humor, and grasps the tough realities of military life. I thought she'd object and judge the ML's public execution of the soldier due to an overly rigid moral compass, but I was pleasantly surprised when she supported his decision and understood the purpose of the whole thing
Actually compared to (many!) other cross dressing female characters, I’m surprised at how much more believable…
I love that she has more "realistic" make up on, unlike some other shows where the gender swapped FL has foundation that is 10x lighter than her skin tone, eyeliner and red lipstick lol. Aren't we trying to be inconspicuous?!
There's also another thing. In those time they thought a woman wouldn't dare to dress as a man. There were places…
You're so right, people these days love to actively hunt for every plot hole and/or throw moral judgments ("omg he is such red flag ewwww, how can you like him?") at stories just meant for fun.
Shows like this are pure escapism, not documentaries. Real life’s messy enough as it is.
Haven’t some of y’all heard of the Clark Kent effect? You gotta suspend disbelief for dramas like this. Why so serious and nitpicky? Have you never seen a superhero movie or gender-swap tv show before? Just enjoy the ride!
I hope the FL delivers a great performance. I dislike that they chose a dainty FL general. but we will see if…
Hopefully she is not too girl boss, I need to see inner conflict AND I also need to see her reach out to others for help (hopefully to her ML and/or crew)

I really hope it lives up to the hype, Ryan Cheng needs a break out show as a lead and I DEFINITELY need a new drama to binge on
