I heard ZLH's new character in the drama Chasing Jade is just like XW. Here is hoping!! We need more REAL anti-heroes in the cdrama world.

Who in this section is "calling out the actress out of her name"?! Also, what does that mean? I can guarantee you that that if someone is personally insulting the actress, it's either a very very very small minority or it's ONE commenter repeating themselves.

But be honest, you are not being respectful either, telling people what to do, that they are acting like antis and that they have to chill out. I think the majority of the critics are being "chill" and are just commenting their dislikes about the character, you just don't like their opinions.

No one here is harrassing or insulting the actress, those are all crazy fan netizens. We should all be able to respect each other's opinions without the labeling.

People can critique the show and FL, and that’s okay, it doesn't make them haters and "antis", it’s part of discussing something we are ALL collective viewing. I get that you’re passionate abut the FL’s choices but not all of us are on board like you are. This is it's a free forum no? I understand your point, however there are many people like me that enjoy cunning in a female lead, and for us this type of character is mentally exhausting. The only reason I held out this long was cus of Liu Yu Ning, and he is BARELY saving it.

I'm comparing because some people may come here expecting a similar mature FL, it's a warning to all newcomers. If you prefer dramas with FLs like Wei Yingluo, Minglan and ManMan..... Yimeng will drive you up the wall, no joke.

This FL is very poorly written, I just can't anymore, she was cute at the beginning but that has rapidly worn off. She is not even close in personality to the FL in Prisioner of Beauty (who was shrewd, emphathetic and truly altruistic), it's so frustrating to see her assume so much and spew so much crap at the ML. This is show should be called a Misunderstanding within a Misunderstanding.

Trust me it will be easier, his character here is nothing like the Duke.

Guys, how is the FL in this ? Is she smart? If not....does she at least use common sense? I really dislike those that are blind to obvious context clues, which causes miscommunication.

Whether I care about kiss scenes depends entirely on the genre of the show I’m watching. In genres like horror, fantasy, or action, I’m perfectly fine if there’s no kissing. But when it comes to romance, a kiss scene is non-negotiable, it’s the emotional payoff that makes the genre satisfying, imo.

I’m also picky about quality. I won’t waste my time on a show that throws in sex scenes to mask a poor plot. With the sheer volume of options out there, waaaay beyond just Cdramas, I can afford to wait. There’s no need to settle when I can find other shows that hit every mark I’m looking for.

Yes I saw that people are saying he was being fatecious when he confirmed it. Honestly, I'd rather not risk wasting my time, I will come back periodically to check, once they do kiss, I will pick it up again.
