That doesn't make sense to me; there will always be some fans who pair the FL with the 2ML in virtually every series, it doesnt mean that the FL is cheating. Viewers just want HIM to be happy, in TikTok people are also shipping him with characters (male and female) from OTHER shows LOL.
With regards to physical touch, I agree with you there is such a thing as emotional cheating. HOWEVER, in order for emotional cheating to manifest, the FL has to romantically YEARN for the 2ML and she just doesnt. MXL does not think of TM that way, in her eyes, he is her good friend and only "family".
The ML isn't commonly shipped with the 2FL in this show for these reasons:
1.) She isn't particularly engaging and comes off as somewhat dull tbh. 2.) She displays MINIMAL interest in the ML. 3.) She is already involved in a romantic storyline with her soulmate, the 3ML.

The FL/SMLs in those dramas have no background storyline close to that of the Book of Fate and Chaos Pearl. Think about it, TM was Pearl's ONLY companion for 10,000+ years (both in solitary), the only person of her "race" (divine artifact) and pretty much her in her mind's eye, a twin spirit brother. I don't think we can possibly comprehend how bonded these two were, he wasn't just a friend, adventure buddy or a thrown in love interest; he was her platonic soulmate who protected her for multiple milennia, it is difficult to be emotionally distant from someone like that. For me Pearl has enough love in her heart for both, it's two different types, and ultimately we know she would choose the ML 10/10 times.

There is nothing ambiguous in the relationship between the FL and the SML, she set him straight early on, and stated that the ML was her bottom line and that she would die to protect him. In what world does she "basically cheat"? This is a very odd statement.
