Well... according to the internet Liu Yunning is 1.89 and Tang Xiaotian is 1.88 I don't care much about that though. Both men look gorgeous on screen and I have to admit that in Story of the pearl girl I like more the 2nd ML ( Jin Ran). He has an amazing character 🥹 He's more kindhearted than the 1rst ML

No. It's a misogynistic trash novel where the woman falls in love with her rapist and abuser. The male lead constantly rapes the female lead and he uses her and abuses her non stop. Despite that she falls in love with him . She probably develops Stockholm syndrome. A syndrome where the victim develops feelings for the abuser

Yes . At the end his personality got a bit better. He started to care more for her wellbeing and they got their happy ever after. They run away together and lived faraway on their own. Far from the toxic palace. I really hope they changed his character and made him a bit softer in comparison with the novel. Because in the book he was so abusive that he made me wanna throw up. He was rapping her non stop and abusing her with every chance he got. She had the Stockholm syndrome apparently and she loved her own buser 😅 I can't find a logical explanation on why the hell she liked her abuser

They do get a happy ending but to be honest I hated male lead's personality. He is an abuser. When he thought female lead is dead he even dug up her corpse from the ground so he can prevent her from resting in peace on the afterlife. He's toxic as f@qk. A total freak. I hope in the drama they'll change him 100% so I can enjoy the show in peace 🙂 I love the actors so much and I'll watch it anyways
