10 episodes later and hours of skips later I ll take my leave..... it was a nice run but I cannot just get into…
just as an fyi, the first 10 episodes were the most cliqued and uninteresting in my opinion. Its was almost like they were written by a different writer and the post by underthestars - they were. The story picked up after that
It doesn't have to be an action drama as JCW is exploring other genre. But tbh, his old dramas (Smile, Donghae;Warrior…
personally I think the problem with K2 was the casting of the FL. The romance was just a little flat on that aspect. She was by far the weakest part of the show for me. Overall I still watch clips from K2, like the umbrella scene and the bathroom fight and so many others but it none a moments with the fl. While for Healer my fave clips all have him and fl.
Mango Tv, why oh why must you put us through this. Just hire an in-house translation team or make a deal with like netflix or viki to stream your shows. I don't understand why they have not yet take that step, that's money left on the table that they could be making from their already made shows.
Thank you so much for voicing my thoughts. I literally just paused it to come and complain here because I am finding…
Exactly, its like all he cares about it getting revenge for his mother's death and he has not had the common decency to investigate what actually happened before listening to an offhand comment from someone who was not even there to begin with.
Its almost like he has been looking for a villian to take revenge on for his mother's death that as soon as he heard Ronger say that the Prince as a child caused the accidental fire in which his mother died he was like target acquired.
I can't forgive the disregard for fictional human life in the today's episodes, all those people at the temples so that they could spread rumours about an injustice that happened in past. I was like I will see you when you conclude airing and I can binge the show in one sitting
So far, up til episode 12, the FL does not have fighting skills and seems to have some trauma when it comes to…
In the earlier episodes he really came off as more wooden and not having much personality - but that changes as soon as he meets the FL. I personally wasn't a fun of that type of ML for this drama especially when I compared him back to the character in ten miles of peach blossom but I was completely sold on him by episode 8 and I just adore him now after the latest episodes.

ML warms up alot in ep 13 & 14, throwing a little jealousy hissy fit.
The FL here is the strong (not physically) caring type. She is like a momma bear that tends to her people and considers their best interests which is why she was chosen to lead. She kind of gives off that whole no one left behind mantra. The FL would never be accused of being cultured / having proper social decorum for a young lady of her age but she cares for each and every one of her people including the beggar children. Another thing I liked about her will not let her prince stand in the way of providing for her people.
I am curious about her lack of fighting skills, she seems to have heighten perception skills while seeming to lack the accompanying martial art skill.
Can the 2nd ML, Xu Ping, get a better backstory please? I'm just not able to take him seriously as a villain -.-
Thank you so much for voicing my thoughts. I literally just paused it to come and complain here because I am finding myself not caring about the SML's story. If this keeps up, I may end up just ff his parts. He is sounding more and more like a whiny baby. There is so much faulty logic across the whole show that actually considering coming back to this when its done airing.
I stopped reading and just had to come here to say that "today years old" is now my new favorite saying. Am surprised by how many of these I have already watched considering I have only been watching kdramas for exactly 2 years next month. The moon embracing the sun is a fave I go back from time to time. King2Hearts and Rooftop prince were also quite good. IRIS has been on my PTW list for a while and I will get to it at some point- I have been craving a drama with like a military background/ sacrificing for the greater good kind of thing for a while now but I haven't found it.
Is the drama awesome? Cause i know the anime is really good just don't know about the drama
Am watching it raw so I am definitely missing the nuances but from what I have seen so far, 5 episodes its a great drama with a profound story. I was going to wait for it to get subbed but I just clicked on the first episode and the rest is history.
The story picked up after that
