I am starting to think that I seriously underestimated the director of TMOPB. I don't understand how Leon Lai could produce such a decent performance in TMOPB and be so underwhelming in the other shows where he has a big part. If it was just him then I could say it a one off but, there is also Alan Yu whose best performance in my opinion was in TMOPB as well. All of this leads me to conclude that the ten miles of peach blossom production team, especially the director deserves more credit for getting the best out of these to actors.
This has nothing to do with this show (ok, a little) but I just thought I would share my thoughts.
IQiyi.com has a preview for ep. 31 https://m.iqiyi.com/v_1essipposn8.html?vfrm=2-3-0-1
My take on it was that if he didn't do that then they would not have gotten out alive. It was obvious that guy wanted QH dead so WY stepped in to give a punishment that would allow them to live alive and hopefully get to safety.
This is a guess so I may be wrong. A while back someone commented on here about how they almost missed this drama because of the other poster - you know, the one with most of the cast. By the time I came back to this page later on the poster was changed back to this old one.
Interesting start to a different type of story. Bai Lu bringing her A game as usual. Leon Lai, a little weaker here (the cold male lead trope is so tired by now) but he has grown on me by ep 8. I liked how realistic the ML's reaction was to finding a strange unknown drunk lady in his carriage. I like the tit for tat between the leads so far.
Anyone have any idea when this was filmed? I caught a date in one of the episodes when the FL was late for work and the year was 2017 so am just curious
I don't remember seeing this behind the scenes before. Staff are wearing green suits spinning the round platform…
lol, and kids that's how the magic of tv is produced. With 2 guys spinning a third while there is another person under his robe holding him in place. I appreciate all their hard work.

His hard work is much appreciated by this fan
