Nope, its still creepy when the ML does it too. Its just such a tired unhealthy trope and frankly a sign of lazy script writing. I would love for dramas to move away from that trope or at least address how inappropriate it is.
has anyone noticed the trend where it's increasingly common for cdramas to get taiwanese (or other non-mainland)…
A factor to take into consideration is that after the male and female leads, the 'villian/antagonist' is usually the 3rd most important character in a show.
Non mainland actors that are cast in Cdramas are usually at the point in their careers were they are either playing leads or an important character.
Hahaha, that goblin throwback scene was unexpected but appreciated. Seems that scene was so iconic that it has been reproduced in a kdrama and now here as well.
not exactly. But there is a makeup scene and what a scene it was. She quits school and goes home because something happens with professional career so YK goes looking for her.
I can't stop smiling when LF and QH were arguing. QH didn't want Luo Wu got a punishment, but LF disagreed with…
There was actually an earlier interaction in one of the previous episodes that I think showed how better suited she was to LF than to Luo Wu. LW were arguing with LF and the went separate ways - QH had to decide which way to go and she chose to follow LF, unconsciously it seemed but still there. Since the very beginning she has always deferred to LF.
I'm just hoping it doesn't end like with the other drama (forgot the name of it because it was that horrid) that…
Could it be the married doctress that stars SML from this drama. Though I didn't watch it, that sounds like what I remember from the synopsis. I remember reading the drama description, seeing that it had terrible ending and the comments and I just decided to skip it.
Huo Yang is AWESOME! I'm happy this drama has had so many interesting characters, that's awesome on their own…
She is very much the boss of him, its hilarious to watch how he just bends to her every whim and all because she tried to poison him and instead ended up healing him.

He is that for sure, I can't wait for the pairing with Xiao Lan. They might just end up being my favorite couple because they are just pure fun. on the parents point Um, yeah. For a while there it was like bad parents/abusive step mothers were the main plot device in recent CDrama. I was glad to see a loving family dynamic not just in this drama but also in Oh my sweet liar that just finished airing.
I've requested multiple times on the request forms on Viki and Netflix. Maybe we can get more people to request!https://support.viki.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034633713-Request-a-TV-Show-or-Moviehttps://help.netflix.com/en/titlerequest
Why do these CDramas show all this HIPAA violations? China must have its equivalent of HIPAA so why do they keep showing us that anybody can just get someone's else health information if they have money?
He seems to actually have a personality in this one.
That was an unkeepable promise to begin with but still....

Definitely not what I had ever expected to say about an Alan Yu drama.

Just my two cents so make of that what you will
