I love it, I was starting to think that dramas couldn't have reasonable parent - child relationships. Especially the costume dramas.

A big reason why I stopped watching Western tv shows in favor of Asian dramas is because the Western shows objectify women sometimes to a ridiculous, nonsensical degree (like I don't understand why that's even in the show) while the Asian dramas objectify men and am down for that.

I just love how embarrassed they both are in the bts and yet that doesn't show in the drama. They are so professional.

I am so impressed with Zhao Lusi choice of a role like this. She is moving away from playing the typical young naive character to more fleshed out roles. This is the best decision for her career. This one move will add a few more years to the length of her career. Good decision by her and her management.
