Bowties are cool

I rewatched Under the Power immediately after L&R. Its the only drama that I started since L&R that I actually finished.
I wanted a story that had a similar kind of emotional connection between the leads and it wasn't until I was like half way through that I realized that they have the same director. He likes doing closes up of the eyes to show emotion.
Fair warning thou, the cgi for under the power is really, really, really bad. You can tell its low budget but the story is solid and I will re-watch it again in the future.

True, the mother especially will have a cow. Maybe dad can fake faint again to calm the situation.
I will say that it was great watching her immediately switch from wanting ML to marry that cousin to the FL as soon as she heard that the FL was pregnant. You don't normally see that in dramas, usually they the parents would insist of their choice increasing the angst.

Ahh, yes. The fifth prince gets dumber as the show progresses. Dear screen writers kindly save us from the dumb side characters that are just there to increase episode count. I would rather the drama was shorter than to have stupid characters doing illogical things.

While the mango tv subs were sometimes hilarious, this show is too good to fall into obscurity and deserves proper subtitles.

I got impatient waiting for mango tv English subs and so I never finished

I love it, I was starting to think that dramas couldn't have reasonable parent - child relationships. Especially the costume dramas.

A big reason why I stopped watching Western tv shows in favor of Asian dramas is because the Western shows objectify women sometimes to a ridiculous, nonsensical degree (like I don't understand why that's even in the show) while the Asian dramas objectify men and am down for that.

Ok, I will try this one more time and see how far I get into it.
