Oh I say! half way through and this is splendid - I can see I'll be greeting like a babby by the end of this one. If I could find the comment where this was recommended alongside 49 days I'd say thanks.

Argh! Diary! that's just put me off in the first episode the twat.

The pacing in this is all over the shop, so far I'm surviving it by only watching the Joseon Ladies and using FF to get through the rest. Still we are halfway through by episode count yet it feels like we are an eighth of the way in in terms of story.

They have all basic ingredients but it's as if they are meal being made for a fussy child's palate. Like ramyeon without the sachet of spices... or an egg. You can eat it as an an adult but it's just for sustenance not for real pleasure. I find many romance Cdramas have a similar feel all fluff and no real jeopardy.
You'll think back in a years' time and you'll be hard pressed to remember more than a scene at best.

Man! getting to halfway through the second episode was a real struggle and quite enough for me.

Loved it the first time - I was on the edge of my seat every episode. Second time around I was just 'when does she grow some? please let it be soon!'

I think you may be right it leaves little tension in the 'action' sequences that should be getting you to the edge of your seat.

Not sure how all these exciting elements managed to bore me to such a degree, but they did.

Almost but not quite. Had hints of being different and having a something to say before fizzling to a wut? ending. I still don't get why she fell for him? Oh yes, rich and handsome means we can forget about all the shit bits.

Zhao Lu Si is her usual charming self but hasn't really been given much to work with in this, I got to ep. 5 and boredom had well and truly set in. Not even the pleasure of watching her expressions could carry the plot. I may drift back but I'm finding the attention paid by the older boy to a little school girl a bit uncomfortable as well. Just not enough non creepy reasons for him to be so invested. Hey ho, I might watch I hear you again for a Lu Si fix as consolation.

Anyone know anywhere to watch with Eng subs and good quality?

I can see how it could grab you but there was just too much thrown at the screen to stick.
Less stuff going would have made it a winner.

That was mighty fine - a thoroughly enjoyable romp with a little dragginess in places but plenty of laughs.
