Not for me I'm afraid for a whole plethora of minor reasons rather than anything major. Ha Young didn't do it for me, I found her character grating, JHI was miscast? misdirected? not arsed? Rest of it was a bit written by an AI fed the last 5 years of dramas, loads of familiar ingredients in odd amounts and mixes. Shame as they had loads of good actors in there.

Yeah, I was disappointed too, proper laughed at WFs. Smoothed out = had so much botox(?) that she sort of looks like herself but not quite, like she reminds you of other actresses with Instaface, but there are still flashes of herself in there - mainly her eyes. I watched a couple of shows the other day with the same actress in back to back, can't remember her name off hand. But there was ten years between shows but she was all smoothed out in the new one and I had to dropped it in the end as it was too weird. Like pod person had replaced her.
Not feeling it - spent half my time watching PEB's smoothed out face rather than the plot. Rest of it was largely flat with a couple of fun moments it might pick up pace but I'm not sure I'll be around to see it. Shame as I had some genuine belly laughs at the Wonderfools and hoped for a similar feel here.

I feel you for not feeling it, didn't grab me either. The actors are fine but the humour is a little basic, slapstick needs more people to carry it for me. I coped with it a lot better in Wonder Fools as rather than one person gurning it was the silly interactions of the group and the reactions of the observers doing the heavy lifting.
It's often better to come back to these things when all or at least more episodes are out, You can skip till they find their feet and then binge if wanted.
The 'her ability to cope and understand the modern world' varying according to plot needs rather than flowing naturally jarred me out of it a couple of times too.
Oh well let's see how it goes it has all the ingredients and could still bake a marvelous cake yet.
Long time since I read such a long review for a show I didn't finish, enjoyed it and agreed with it, though I only got to episode 19 before I got so bored I went to scare myself watching the news on TikTok.
