If you don't like immature, clingy MLs take a hard pass on this one. Same is true if you don't like weak ass FLs. I absolutely adored her in Sunshine of my Life, but here her character is terrible.
Pretty good. To be honest I started watching with pretty low expectations but was pleasantly surprised later on. Not sure how to phrase this, the problems/schemes, the intentions behind them and how the characters deal with them feel very authentic. Nothing is over the top dramatic. Everything feels kind of real. Most characters act in a logical way.
To whoever is responsible for this not getting a time slot: I officially hate you! And I also hate you, Tencent, for announcing this without securing a slot first! I've been waiting for a fricking year and there is not even a clue if this can actually air this year (or next year for that matter). Who designed such a crappy system? If shows have to wait for years to actually air, found more tv stations. The demand very obviously seems to be there.
The FL sucks so much at playing detective. All of her plans blow up in her face. She always gets seen through right away. This only makes her seem reckless and stupid. Quite disappointing tbh. Would have expected more. I’m only at ep 7, let’s hope this gets better otherwise I probably won’t stick with it for 32 episodes.
Nobody mentioned 'D.P.'? It's easily one of the best OSTs I've heard over the years. 'Bulgasal' has a pretty good soundtrack as well in my opinion.
I agree with DAYS, the soundtrack left an impression (the actual drama not so much though). 'Run On' also has a nice OST. I watched 'So I Married an Anti-Fan', however I can neither remember much of the story nor the music, I guess it didn't really stood out to me. I haven't watched the rest (apart from 'Vincenzo', but I can't remember the ost either).
Also, imo the Undercover OST had a few notable songs, eg. 'Where Are You' by KATIE and 'On a Secluded Road' by Sondia & Kim Junhwi.
Finally, if 'Our Beloved Summer' wasn't a 2022 drama, it'd definitely deserve a spot on the list.
Regionally licensed and coming to Viki. Date not announced.https://www.viki.com/tv/38429c-she-her-perfect-husband?qId=38ef01bfaebf928b9bf76b2b0531c78d#reviews
On the bright side, at least we don't have to worry about missing/crappy subs once it finally airs.
It's not a bad drama, however for some reason it doesn't click with me. I enjoyed the initial episodes up to ep 9 or so, but I'm currently at ep 12 and it feels like a chore to watch. I don't really feel the spark between the leads. I liked them more when they made life difficult for each other. The comedy was great, but once the romance started to develop I kind of lost interest.
I had high expectations because of all the positive comments and also because I really like republican dramas, however 'Fall in Love' was a total disappointment. To say it plainly: The plot is shallow, cringy, unrealistic and most of the times predictable. A majority of the side characters annoyed the heck out of me and I really wondered why most of them were even there. They contributed nothing to the story.
This is just another sad example for how you can't trust the MDL ratings. Compared to other republican dramas like 'The Rebel' or 'The Justice', both of which have lower ratings than 'Fall in Love', while at the same time shine through well-developed story lines as well as interesting, and complex characters, FIL doesn't even play in the same ball park.
The only saving grace was the FL which I quite liked otherwise this drama was a complete waste of time.
It's an excellent show but if they took Seo Hye Won's Yoo Jung character and turned THAT in to it's own show,…
Glad I’m not the only one. She was literally amazing. I’m still laughing when I think of the scene where she’s sitting in the car crying and says: “Because, you know, I’ve got no 친구!” I was dead on the floor. She was a one man comedy show. All her scenes were freaking hilarious.
'You Are My Glory' is pretty similar in my opinion.
> Begin Again > Forever Love > Le Coup de Foudre (give the FL some time, later on she completely has him under her thumb, also my fav last ep in drama world) > The Day of Becoming You > You Are My Hero
