You are welcome. Actually, I have mixed reactions about what happens in episode 33 & ep 34. As you said, the main leads never intentionally hurt each other for a bigger cause. Yet, in episodes, 33 & 34, the female lead deliberately pretends to be really, really cold to the male lead to make him t hink her past self isn't there with her, and to deliberately make him detached from her so that the male lead can easily, smoothly move on when she dies to save the three realms. Now those scenes were a bit frustrating & torturous to watch especially after watching the consistent rule of "We'll keep no secrets and we'll face everything together" rule followed by the main leads from ep 1-29 getting bent or broken.

I think the male lead falls for the female lead first, but he is never shown admitting that fact to himself, especially in the initial half of the series. The male lead always takes the initiative to express his care , concern, and desire to be with the female lead especially in the first half of the series, and in the first initial 15 episodes, he always acts surprised when he realizes he's doing something to the female lead like subconsciously grabbing her shoulders out of concern , or caring for her when he learns she's sick etc which his sane, logical mind would never even dream of doing that to others.
The male lead never pushes away the female lead overtly. Even in times of severe danger & crisis, his mind has this hidden hope or desire to be with her.
But in episode 35, the male lead decides to hide his mission to sacrifice his body in order to kill an ancient evil god. He might most probably die if no one is there to save him. He does this in the hope of changing the fate of the female lead who otherwise, would've sacrificed her life while trying to seal the evil god for the safety of all realms. Btw, the male lead comes to know about this mission of the female lead indirectly. She also does her best to hide it from him.
So in episode 35, the male lead just leaves the female lead without an explanation after giving her a farewell kiss, and the female lead goes ahead with her planned wedding to the second male lead(which though only in name I think, is part of her plan to awaken the power of second male lead as well as hers to kill or seal the evil ancient god ). So, it's basically like the main leads give a farewell kiss to each other and just leave each other ( though they are very sad about it) to carry out their respective big, risky noble missions to save the world as well as save their beloved. They just bid farewell without any communication or explanation at all. And she's in the dark about his plans. And each one thinks s/he will save the other by doing this. That was really frustrating & tormentous to watch. I just wish the script writers had written a different solution or approach using which the main leads can confront the evil god together without sacrificing their love for each other. However, after 500 years, the main leads reunite in the finale episode after the female lead manages to nurture and revive (a fragment of, I think, not sure ) the male lead's primordial spirit. This happened because the female lead chooses to believe in wonders. That's how it's shown.
Does anyone know where to download the photo stills of the main male lead actor with silvery white hair, wearing a loose black costume when he appears as Tai Sui in episode 36 ?

Oh I can't believe that such a deep, majestic , powerful voice belongs to this guy with a sweet, baby face. Strange are the ways of nature! He did a wonderful job as voice actor in this drama!
1. First of all, He couldn't even kill TaiSui with the glaze fire because Taisui and him form one and only persona.…
Hmmm. I see. I think you really deserve to be a teacher or professor of Xianxia literature & xianxia dramas! 🙂 Thanks for your clear, precise explanations!

Hmmm... I guess so. So had Tai Sui been outside Dongfang Qingcang's body, do you think dongfang could've used the glazed fire to kill Tai Sui? ( hypothetical scenario)

Need an epilogue -like episode focusing on the main leads.
That's why I got all amazed.
That's natural. That always happens. 🙂

When did that happen? I mean, the restrainment?did that take place when Dongfang's mind wavered a bit? Is it in episode 35?
Same here!

That's a lot to take, and a bit confusing😅.
But now everything is clearer than before.
Thanks for your reply.
