If you want that, I suggest you read the novel (original story based on which this drama is produced) , Cang Lan Jue. The dramas will always be a softer, gentler version.
Try Ashes of Love drama & the scholar who walks the night drama. But ashes of love drama is only loosely based on the original novel, heavy sweetness ash-like frost. So hardcore fans of the novel might find that a bit unsatisfactory because there again, the production team deviated from the original story.

It was too painful & torturous for me to watch today's episodes. I just don't want to see Dongfang suffer anymore.
I really miss little orchid version of the goddess. After she turned into a full blown powerful goddess version, it's not that fun to watch the interaction between Xi Yun goddess & Dongfang Qingcang. Hope the rest of the remaining two episodes will make up for the pain I suffered while watching those.
I really am starting to miss the original story in the novel. .. But I'm willing to wait & see.

In my case, I do feel sorry for him, and I do feel sympathy for him although the methods he used to achieve his goals were all negative & unrighteous. Still, I wish the script was designed in such a way that there was scope for redemption for this character ronghao so that he could transition from a villian to an anti-hero with a separate happy ending or at least a bittersweet ending for him with his master. For eg, xunfeng character had room for development from a cold, resentful brother to a loving, impulsive brother.
I would have felt carried away by sorrow either way --- without voice or with voice. I guess the ost played as bgm when dongfang cries in pain produces a more epic vibe.
