Btw someone observed that for a moment, as he reaches for the gate in the last scene, you no longer see her being him and the camera pans to the left. It's only when it pans back to the right you see her again, as he decides to stay with her. This is also similar to the plant with no buds as he's dying in bed (his love dead with him), when the camera pans down to him. When it pans back to the plant after his last breath, you see buds back on it, indicating his love is reborn. The details are ridiculous.
