Director's cut blu-ray was just confirmed, 8 disks of main content and 6 of extra content (potentially more coming), plus extra concept book (no photo or script books, these will be sold separately). Still no subs mentioned, and this was after I read an article about how successful the drama was overseas 🤣 blows my mind, but what can you do.

Once you get past the first couple of episodes on season 1, it's a freaking ride! Penthouse was crack!

The 50 episodes fly, and even if you only watch till 18 and then watch clips, it's worth it.

I went from wuxia to sageuk (with lots of stops in between), first one was SFD.
Do it! It has some of the best antiheroes and villains in dramas. There's a bit of sword flying/dancing in it, but it works! To give you context, I couldn't get past the intro credits on The Untamed because of the sword flying 🤣

I went from wuxia to sageuk (with lots of stops in between), first one was SFD.

When recruiting friends to the world of kdramas, I would always start them out with Goblin (one of them asked after the 1st episode was over, "wait, and there are more episodes?? 😍")

I think it's time to graduate to this drama for an entry point. Really high bar, but what a fantastic journey.

His lonesome march in mourning robes is the so-called coronation scene in this drama. It was 5 minutes of mastery in every way, I had to record it separately and keep it to rewatch, it's one of my favorites
