I also took it as a bookend for one of the three fates (using our characters by example) the court lady can suffer when faced with the prospect of becoming a concubine (Young Bin embraced it, Jo lived forever with her unrequited love and jealousy, and Deok Im who is fighting it)

Did you watch tkem? He was the cop that was friends with the FL. She was in Age of Youth and had a bullying scandal earlier this year

Uh yeah, that candy scene had to be one of the most erotic things I've seen in kdramas. Forget 19+ bed scenes, this is the real deal. The female gaze in this drama is ridiculously satisfying.
