The comical aspect of the 'original' female leads are erased in this drama and the musical classic scores are…
Oh no, that's exactly what I feared; that they would leave out the comical aspect completely! Now I'm really hesitant to start this since the amazing comedy of this story along with the music were the best things for me in the original version! D:
Is it that good, really? Because, after my dear Hospital Playlist ended, I really needed some new drama to at…
The problem is, I've seen them all xD I'm a fan of that director/writer combo since reply 1997 aired... actually they're my favorite. But anyways, I think I'll check Oh My Baby. Thanks for replying :)
best drama airing right now since hospital playlist is officially over
Is it that good, really? Because, after my dear Hospital Playlist ended, I really needed some new drama to at least try to fill the void it left lol xD
I don't know...as a big fan of the japanese versions of Nodame Cantabile (both anime and live action), I feel kinda tempted to give it a try despite the fact I don't watch Chinese dramas xD...but I don't see the comedy tag anywhere? The comedy aspect of Nodame Cantabile (it was so hilarious!) is one of the best things of the story; besides the great music, of course. The Korean adaptation wasn't that bad but it wasn't very accurate either. So, I hope this new one is at least better.
Wow, this one looks very interesting! Hope it'll be good, because after the amazing 365: repeat the year, I really needed something of a similar genre!
do you recommend watching this when I'm not into medical dramas?
Yes, totally! Beyond the medical aspect of the drama, this story is more about the lives of the human beings interacting at a hospital (patients, doctors, families, etc)...It's a great slice-of-life drama! And very realistic when compared to other dramas of this genre...I fully recommend it!
Omg I don't even know where to start! This season finale was such an emotional rollercoaster! I can't believe how much I cried during some scenes; but the one with the pregnant lady at Seokhyun's office, totally broke my heart :'( (kudos to the actress, 'cause I could really feel her pain)! And then when they showed the rest of the pregnant patients who were previously complaining for the long wait... what a way to teach everyone a lesson about human empathy! This director/writer combo are genius at that! I had the feeling that JeongWon would choose his career as a pediatrician because somehow (most likely through a patient) he would have found out that that was his true calling in life! But I wasn't ready to see my "winter garden" ship sailing this season! Ahhh I'm just sooo happy :D! And I knew it; I knew he did go to the ER to see her that time. I was really hoping for the director to show us that scene some time xD... Well, I can see some comments complaining about the open ending, but I think it was great! There will be a second season so it's understandable that the rest of the stories (which are way more complicated than wintergarden's in my opinion) are better left like this till next season. I'm just sad that my Thursdays-Fridays will feel so empty without this amazing drama (my second 10/10 of the year after 365: repeat the year) How am I supposed to wait a whole year without this great drama and cast; especially uri cute Uju and his crazy appa? D: ... I simply love my new favorite band "Mido Falasol" so much! xD Ahhh I'm gonna miss them!!!
What song was that? I can't speak Korean so I didn't understand the lyrics xD
I know Pachelbel's cannon, but I didn't know what song you were referring to in your comment. That's why I asked because I didn't remember that scene clearly and I thought you were talking about one of the osts.
Whilst I'm not sure that we'll get them by the end of this season, I do think there's a chance they'll continue…
Exactly what I think! If he stays or decides to come back from Italy, it would be because his selfless nature and his conscience would convince him that being a pediatric surgeon is his real calling in life. Maybe Gyeoul will be the mediator to receive his miracle of finally understanding God's will for him.
I DEFINITELY AGREE. Well i ship her with ik jun but dang this girl is really hard to read. However, did yall notice…
I completely agree! I think that's exactly what's happening to her... maybe she never imagined that day would come; she probably had to suffer in silence when he got married and had already left any romantic feelings for him in the past in order to keep the friendship. But now the situation suddenly changed and she's too confused to even understand her own feelings; or maybe she's afraid of ruining her peaceful life and their great friendship because of this.
I know that you guys are team Chi hong, but still, that was completely wrong. Ik Jun always acts that way around…
So true! He's acting like that because he's jealous and for the first time he feels threatened by someone. He knows Chihong well and considers him a great rival. Besides, unlike him, Chihong's been very direct about his feelings for Songhwa...and maybe he thinks that now that he's single again, he has nothing to lose; he just doesn't want to make the same mistake of losing her twice without "fighting" first.
I maybe too biased with ikjun. He's the best character at least for me.I know things might have been really stressful…
I totally agree! I also think Chihong went too far and he's making her feel really uncomfortable. Maybe she had already decided to leave for Sokcho due to her discs problem; but this awkward situation with Chihong and her confusion about Ikjun indirect confession probably made her accelerate her plans.
