First episode reminded me of Rapunzel and Tangled. Rapunzel was raised by a witch who pretended to be her real…
My thoughts exactly! For some reason I still doubt that she's the real mother. The hints about her identity became too obvious lately to be true. Besides, as Mun Yeong herself said, she would have recognized her mother even with an extreme plastic surgery; things like the voice and gestures can't change so much to the point that someone really close to the person wouldn't recognize them. Also, we can't forget the other crazy patient ( the one who brought her the note and then ran away); she also kinda tried to pass off as her mother. I'm even starting to think all these women are just imitators. It's like they're part of some sort of cult formed by psycho fans of the writer with the main objective and motivation to force Mun Yeong to publish her mother's final book. XD
I loved what the CEO said about emotions, how 'even the same colour can take different names depending on its…
I loved his explanation! It's so true, because one can love people (parents, grandparents, kids, siblings, etc; friends, love interest, even pets) in very different ways but at the same time with the same intensity!
GT is a little bit annoying tho, I get his brother is particular and his life has been hard but this thing of…
I was wondering if that was the same hospital in Romantic Doctor or just a place very similar to it; and you just confirmed that to me indirectly xD. I don't remember seeing the ocean view in Romantic Doctor though, that's why I had my doubts.
But when we saw the incident, it was MY's memories not GT.. I think the fact that he didn't saved him directly…
Oh that's true, I forgot we saw the incident from MY's point of view :O ...but GT did say he wanted his Hyung to die and initially tried to walk away when ST fell in the water. It seems like GT had that memory blocked too, considering his reaction. But I wonder why ST thought his little brother pushed him, though? If MY's memory of the incident is accurate, it's clear that things didn't happen like he said.
now let's talk about my favorite character, JAESU!!!! we don't have much back story yet of how Jaesu and GT became…
I don't think he's gay because it was hinted before that he kinda likes Juri . Besides the fact that he's a loyal friend, I think there might be some story the writer haven't disclosed already that would explain why he's so devoted to GT and his brother to the point he follows them wherever they go. Because he's friendship is so close that it's like he's the third brother. Maybe he feels very thankful towards GT for his friendship or even for something he did for him in the past?
Wow I'm just speechless by the level of awesome acting in this drama; but episode 9 was another level of superb! Both brothers made me feel the pain they had kept inside all those years. GT's reaction (Kim Soo Hyun truly deserves an Oscar someday!); Omg I can't forget his face of horror when his brother started to yell and accused him of trying to kill him that day at the frozen river... I'm afraid to say this, but what if Sang Tae's memories about the frozen river incident are the real ones :/ ? We've all seen already that GT memories, especially those about his mother not loving or caring for him, were mostly wrong; and ST indirectly helped him remember that when they went to the jjampong restaurant they visited with their mom. I've noticed that, probably due to his autism, ST has an excellent accurate memory. So, I'm starting to think that GT could also suffer from any mental disorder due to trauma, that affects his memories or that alters them in order to cope with trauma and pain. I don't know, but I can't wait to see more of their story!
I have reflected a little & agree to the theory that Gang Tae might have selective memory loss. It sounds like…
I'm starting to think the same thing. The first clue was how he had the memories of his mother all distorted. That time, Sang Tae memories like the jjampong restaurant day, helped GT remember his mother also loved him. I'm afraid Sang Tae's version of the frozen river incident might also be the real one (that would explain Moon Yae's tears when she was standing in the hospital lobby during the brother's huge fight, since she witnessed everything when they were kids); and we need to consider the fact that ST has an excellent accurate memory due to his autism.
Kim Soo Hyun's acting at the end was PHENOMENAL this man deserves an oscar oml
I thought the same thing! I hope he learns English (if he doesn't speak already) so he can start an acting career in the USA or any western country someday; in order to increase the chances of becoming a candidate for an Oscar. Because I can totally see him wining an Oscar for best actor with such superb level of acting . Wow, he leaves me speechless! He's simply amazing!!! :D
I saw other people mention that they cried when MY sobbed after her sleep paralysis experience. I didn't expect…
Her acting was superb! I've suffered with sleep paralysis too (just not so frequently and not that horrible all the time), so I know exactly how that feels and could totally empathize with her character.
episode 6 is the best so far also the child actor who plays young kang tae is unbelievably good and he is only…
True! I've seen this talented kid practically growing up before our eyes in dramas, doing the child versions of main leads; and his acting just gets better and better! I'm sure he'll be a great main lead in a couple of years
Kim Soo Hyun is such an amazing actor it blows my mind. The scene where his brother was beating him, his facial…
I totally agree! His expressions are the best X_X OMG ...that scene with his brother was superb! The mix of emotions were totally reflected on his face. I could feel his pain, anguish, sadness, astonishment Wow he's such a great actor indeed!
Nurse JooRi seems to have mental health issue. The way she act after she finds out the boys have move out, and…
I agree! I've been thinking about that since a couple of episodes ago. Maybe she's just a two-faced hypocrite, or just an immature spoiled woman ...but what if she's kinda sociopathic too? The next episodes will reveal that when she starts to realize that the author is "stealing" her longtime crush from her.
oh, I am still blaming myself for wasting time on MMS so I am scared to start with this one
Wow, my thoughts exactly! Melting me softly was a real nightmare I only endured because I love JCW and I missed him lots! But I'm not sure if I'll be able to do the same thing again with this one, sadly :/ I think I'll wait some episodes more to read the reactions...it's so sad that a very talented actor like him seems like he's picking the wrong dramas lately :(
Also, we can't forget the other crazy patient ( the one who brought her the note and then ran away); she also kinda tried to pass off as her mother.
