Behind all the complex theories & confident slogans we always had a faint voice at the back of our minds reminding…
Actually, it seems I'm a trained clown then, xD, since this thing happened to me a couple of years ago with Reply 1994 (I still can't get over that SLS). And even though I should have known better, here I am again, suffering from the second worst second lead syndrome of my life as a kdrama fan xD
PSANew feature on Netflix, you can now change the playback speed. So you can sloooooowwww down HJP scenes, and…
Hahahaha thanks! That tip seems really helpful in order to watch these two chaotic final episodes coming...I just want this drama to be over! But I wanna enjoy uri Jipyeong scenes xD
More good news for Seon Ho!https://www.soompi.com/article/1441537wpp/kim-seon-ho-announced-as-mc-for-2020-mbc-music-festival
OMG that's great! It's been like three years maybe, or more, since I last watched an year end music show...but for SeonHo, I think I'll watch it this year xD
10 yrs later young girls who watched this will realize what young fans of boys over flowers realized now about…
Exactly hahaha I can confirm that. I'm so glad my mentality completely changed in these 10 years after the drama; and now I can see how toxic was the main couple relationship. She definitely chose the wrong guy!
Mark my word, 2 years after being married to NDS, and the honeymoon stage has passed, SDM will realize all the…
I was thinking something similar while watching episode 14! In real life, couples like Dalmi and DS, if they marry their first loves or crushes, tipically will end in divorce after two years or so, when passion fades away and they see reality as it is. That happens because they get married for the same incorrect reasons some high school sweethearts do: physical attraction, shallow emotions and idealization etc. But because this is kdramaworld, nobody's thinking about this. Actually, couples that started as friends like DM and JP, has better chances of success. Episode 15 clearly shows how Dalmi trust JP to the point that she's not afraid to show her vulnerability and cries (sadly for another man) in front of him and finds comfort in their friendship. She doesn't feel that excitement with him as when she is with DS; but still, she truly cares about JP and has shared special moments and meals with him as family or best friends. When you see long lasting married couples, their relationship look more like that of Dalmi and JP. They complement each other! Sadly, we can't expect a realistic ending from this writer. That's why I love my Reply Series so much! Relationships are more realistic but still adorable :)
I swear the whole drama felt like that the FL & SL are meant to be together but the ML keeps coming in between.…
Hahaha agreed! I still don't know what is this writer doing? I mean, it's so hard to believe JP isn't the main lead. I've seen some of this writer dramas and in them, almost every main lead's backstory that somehow links him to the female lead, is showed in the first episodes... exactly the same thing she did with JPs character...yet the main lead is Do San, who's acting like the typical pushy second lead xD I just don't understand the story anymore! Seems like this writer got lost in the way -_-
In Ep. 14 when HJP says "I'm pretty sure I have the right."This is the single most powerful statement in the whole…
Wow I loved this deep analysis you made. I was already impressed by his facial expressions during that scene, but now your comment made it feel even more impactful! This made me appreciate Han Ji Pyeong as a character even more now! The poor guy suffered almost all of his life alone (and we'll never now how much he suffered as an orphan during his school years); yet he never allowed himself to be selfish even for a moment till that day... It's just so heartbreaking that this sadistic writer decided to make him like a 'fairy godmother' to secure Dalmi's fate and happiness -_- ; instead of giving him his well deserved own happiness with another person or even by himself, but without a frustrating love triangle in his story :(
Ok I can't believe I'll say this, since I braced myself for yet another frustrating and kinda depressing episode for us #teamgoodboy (I want to forget that that awful ep 13 even existed); but I actually kinda liked this episode a bit more, for three things especifically: 1. Finally, I could see some character growth in the samsamtech guys (except for DoSan who's still acting childish) since they're acting like adults and more professional, now. And from Injae (who's character has been neglected almost the whole drama) and Dalmi's sisters relationship (and with their family too). 2. I guess the writer finally decided to focus a bit more in the business aspect of the drama (like we all wanted) and put aside this insufferable love triangle that's ruining the story. 3. Since I couldn't care less about Dalmi and DoSan relationship (from ep 12, I decided to stop being tricked by this writer and her absurd love triangle and to only focus on Jipyeong's awesomeness xD) ; I'm relieved the writer didn't try to completely ruin Ji pyeong's character, as some us feared; by turning him into the 'villain' now. I'm glad they're still showing him as the honest, trustworthy, profesional, smart and selfless person he is :) .He's the best character and the show stealer anyway! :D Well, I really hope they'll continue this way till the end; Otherwise, I'll consider this drama as a complete failure and a waste of my time; and not for a petty reason like that our bias didn't win; but because the writer ruined a story with potential to be great and an amazing character like JP by making him suffer from beginning to end for a love triangle that should have stopped at episode 4 or 5; only to extend the hype online with the rival teams and secure high ratings, as well -_-
I can't believe I spent the last weeks of my vacation thinking about a fictional story that isn't even satisfying…
IKR! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that spents time in her daily life, thinking about the mistreatment that Jp's character is still receiving xD . Agh, it's just that this writer is so frustrating! Why does she has to create such an awesome character only to keep him suffering from beginning to end! I'm not saying he has to end up with Dalmi though, but it's time to stop this pathetic love triangle already, so we will be able to see him moving on and be happy with his own life; at least in these three last episodes left -_-
Kim Seon Ho stealing the show is the only reason I'm still watching this drama lmfao
Exactly! XD I don't feel connected to any other character or situation; apart from Jipyeong and halmeoni's relationship of course... I really don't care what happens anymore; who ends up with who; if they restore samsamtech team etc; I just want to see my two favorite characters happy as a family :)
This drama was a failure no matter what in the end.1. If this drama ends with NDS and SDM, what ties and history…
I couldn't agree more! No matter what, the ending won't be good enough! We'll never know the reasons, but, this writer kinda got lost on the way and ruined her own drama *smh* -_- It's sad 'cause it had the potential to be an epic drama and one of the best of this year :/
Maybe Jun mom see, Jun cant survive and he in crisis state, but later he survived. She never confirmed Jun death…
Oh, that's true the mom never confirmed his death. And yes, I totally agree, with 20 more minutes at least, we would have felt better about the ending!
Wow, seeing your heartfelt comment made me see this ending from a very different perspective. Art certainly is a subjective thing, since we can interpret it in several ways, depending on our own life experiences and personality. Thanks for sharing your story! Blessings :)
