I'm so thankful to that unknown person on Startup's comment section that said she rewatched this short drama to compensate for the terrible mistreatment
and bittersweet ending our dear Han Jipyeong received on that messy drama. She was so right! Watching this drama certainly helped a lot! I feel a bit better now; like more relieved after seeing him receiving a proper happy ending. I thought I would need to wait for his next ML role on his upcoming drama to be able to totally overcome this painful second lead syndrome and the bad taste StartUp left me with!
I'll also take this as the happy ending he deserved :D.
P.S This drama was so light and sweet, but the FL's attitude was kinda annoying sometimes, though. But the chemistry between both leads was simply incredible! Oh, and that cute little hedgehog stole the show lol :)... Of course, my dear Kim SeonHo shined as usual with his great acting and his adorable smile :) (and dimples hehe) ... I can't help but fall for him even more, everytime I see him on a new drama (new for me though, since I hadn't seen it before) :3♥

I totally agree! I'm starting to think now, that writer hate people like HJP or something; and she tried to punish them through his character. Or maybe she doesn't like that the actor KSH was so good in his role, that practically outshined the real main leads or something, Because the unfair (almost sadistic) treatment she gave to HJP'S character, simply doesn't make sense! She could have stopped the love triangle thing like in the beginning of the second half of the drama and then making them all friends and focus more on the business aspect , which was really interesting...but no, she had to keep this frustrating triangle till the end and make us suffer for HJP till ep 16 (maybe to maintain the hype of the drama online with the rival teams). I'll never forgive her for that; and I'll avoid her dramas as they were the plague xD

I know hahaha maybe I'll reconsider the rating I gave later xD... but for today since, I'm kinda basing my rating on his scenes with Halmeoni and the project to sponsor orphans, I decided to not give it a lower rating than that since personally, I usually don't consider 7.5/10 good. I rarely watch completed dramas with ratings lower than 8/10.

That's probably the only good thing from the ending. That he found a real family in Halmeoni and a purpose (through repaying her kindness and love by helping other orphans like him).

Exactly! It's like HJP only existed in this drama as the fairy godmother ( or as they mentioned in the drama, a sherpa) for Dalmi and sam sam.tech, so they could achieve their dreams *smh* -_- ... I don't even care he didn't get the girl, I mean he was too good for her anyway! What bothers me and made me dislike the second half of the drama and the ending, was that she created such a wonderful character as HJP only to give him a bittersweet unsatisfying ending; when he sometimes looked as the real main lead. That's what we won't forgive and forget. And to think I used to love this writer's dramas before; now I'll try my best to avoid her next works like they were the plague XD

Sorry to interrupt too :D... I just wanted to say that I think the writer forced that rooftop dialogue between Dalmi and Jipyeong about the letters, just to justify the ending and avoid more criticisms for such an important plot hole. And to give some kind of excuse to the viewers and #teamgoodboy so we could accept such a bittersweet an unsatisfying ending for him. I do think Ji Pyeong was sincere when he wrote those letters and he was indeed the DoSan from her past, in my opinion. I mean he kept them for almost half of his life! But he felt so embarrassed for misjudging Halmeoni's actions that he never contacted them again.... until Dalmi reappeared before him in that forum at sandbox.

I agree! I really disliked the script (and the writer) so much at the end; but still gave it a 7.5/10 because of the acting; especifically for the characters of Han Jipyeong?, Injae and Halmeoni of course. The osts were good also.

I'm so glad this torture is finally over! Undoubtedly one of the biggest disappointments not just of 2020 in kdramaworld , but in the history of
all kdramass!
But, since Han Jipyeong and Halmeoni's characters existed in that universe; and their endearing story is one of the best things I've ever seen; I can't give the low rating this drama and her absurd writer deserves (gave it 7.5/10). I just can't! Apart from them, the only likeable characters were Injae, the CEO of Sandbox and Han Jipyeong's assistant. The rest, I couldn't care less about them. The thing I'm most angry about is they never properly thanked Jipyeong for being practically samsam tech and Dalmi's sandbox. They totally ignored the fact that they are now better professionals because they indirectly learnt from him and his harsh but honest remarks, which help them to mature faster (supposedly).

Despite all the mistreatment received by a sadistic writer, Ji Pyeong outshined everyone in this lame drama with the lamest predictable ending ever (he was too good for that FL btw).
Our adorable good boy will be forever the best character and I'll never forget this drama only because he existed there.
I'm looking forward to see uri Kim Seon Ho shining in a new project who will treat his character with the love and happiness he deserves. This talented man did such an amazing work, that even if a lot of us really hated the second half of this drama and knew exactly where this was going (despite the intents of the writer to trick us with false hopes and meaningless clues), we couldn't abandoned him and had to watch till the end!
Btw, the only 3 good scenes of this unbearable ending were: watching Yeo Jin goo's cameo (another one of my boys with deep voice xD); Injae and Halmeoni's reconciliation; and the beautiful scene between JP and halmeoni. I'm so glad that at least he found the support of a family in her :)

Wow it's true. I can't believe it'd come a day that I'd say a drama.was worst than Heirs...and it happened! :O It's more shocking because it's the same writer of I hear your voice and Pinocchio (two dramas I really loved). This just doesn't make any sense!

Sadly true! And a lot of couples in real life with a love as superficial as that of DS and DM, will eventually end up in divorce if their strong infatuation doesn't transform into real love, She basically said she's atracted to him for something physical (his hands; I still can't understand that btw) and that's it. Not any other deep reason that could guarantee a long lasting relationship. She doesn't even know why she likes him tbh...that relationship is doomed already. And to think this is the kind of "love" that this absurd writer is trying to romanticize and promote as ideal *smh* -_-

Besides the fact that I wanted to see my dear Kim SeonHo/dimple boy again (I loved him since Eulachacha Waikiki 2), the second motivation to start this drama was that I really enjoyed that writer previous dramas. Actually, I hear your voice is one of my favorite dramas ever....and to think this disappointing plot came from the same mind and hands who wrote those great dramas, it's just imposible to believe. This thing doesn't make any sense! I just can't understand WTH happened to this writer? From making epic memorable dramas to delivering one of the lamest most frustrating drama plots I've ever seen in my more than a decade as a kdrama fan. This is disappointing!
