That is really touching because its like a poetic way of showing a deeper meaning here that he is happy to have met YH(that part he confirmed that is the case), but in a deeper meaning, he wanted to express that if they really did met 20 years ago it means that he would be able to love her sooner 😍😍

To me, the misunderstanding needed to occur for these developments so as much as I don't like miscommunication, I don't mind it because they gave us these development and writing that I enjoyed how they've become closer now because of it.

Then we wouldn't get the story and developments that we have now... For writing perspective that makes sense because TY is not allow to say anything to her....So it will go down this path to have TY chasing after her to earn back her love and forgiveness.

When she said that she will return it to him in front of the YG, the way TY expressed to what YH said about returning it to him already speaks for itself..
That's his Nine Stars that is so valuable that even YG knew about it and want to have it for her own but TY shows strong emphasis that he doesn't want anyone to have it aside from YH.
He is willing to silently give her these things without asking her to repay him. That's what makes him great imo

Something subtle I picked up when YH said the medicine was really bitter. TY gave her something that will help rid the bitter taste from the medince. There was a plate of it next to her yet she went with the one TY gave her instead... 😍😍 It shows that she's one step closer to TY than when they were at Qing Qiu.
