I actually root for that kind of love to be honest because I am tired of seeing you choosing to save the world over protecting your lover.

Chen Yi and Xue Lin outcome is an example and the writers hinted the correct answer is saving the person you love over the world. If you can't even save the one you love how can you think of saving the world. So it all goes back to that question in the end

Yeah I know that's why I said TY will do it differently when compared to Chen Yi since he's already can't bear to see YH suffering on her end. This actually makes me love him more. I just hope that at the end of all this they can truly get that happy ending they deserve.

So the decisions and outcome will be different because TY cannot bear to see YH suffer this alone so he will do something about it on his end. That's what makes them different while being parallel at the same time but the choice and decisions will lead to a different outcome at the end for TY and YH in comparison
