Yes, since the whole "Exchange for the HPS" that the Dark Lord order her to accomplish in 3 months was a time limit he placed on her, as a transaction/deal that he made YH believed that he was the one who saved her life.
The Dark Lord wasn't the one who saved her life though, since when he entered into her Mind Eye when YH was still unconscious, he made that comment saying "The Dragon King really does love/value her so much", so he knew that it was because of what Tian Yao gave Yan Hui was the thing that saved her life. So he didn't need to do anything on his end to save her life, since Tian Yao already ensured that she won't die.
What the Dark Lord did is he just manipulated the situation to his advantage, by placing the Dark Aura in her Mind Eye through that flower, where she have a "3 month" time period to accomplish her task by getting the HPS to him (it didn't really serve anything when BXS took her there aside from the fact he sold her soul to the Dark Lord, that's why BXS was part-guilty since he know what will happen if he brings YH there, but still did it because he thought it was the only way to save her at the time)...
The Dark Lord did subtly hinted to her by telling her that she didn't need to thank him for saving her life, since he didn't really do anything to save her life, but in YH perspective, she thought that she's now alive is because the Dark Lord saved her (through his own method). So to YH, in her perspective, it was the Dark Lord who saved her, while she lost her freedom about the whole 3 months time period set for her to accomplish her mission set by the Dark Lord, she didn't blame BXS because in YH perspective, she was able to live now because BXS took her to the Dark Lord to save her life.
She wants to remove the Darkness inside of her, because she wants her freedom back, and not be a puppet to the Dark Lord. The three-months time-frame to me, felt more like a time-frame before she completely lose control of herself and become a puppet, that's why she's running out of time, on her end, not because she will die after 3 months, but each day is precious to her because the darkness/dark flowers implanted in her Mind Eye is growing each day. She wanted to be free from the control, is why she wants to use the Ghost Book Spell to dispel the Darkness.

To me how TY feels for YH is much stronger and deeper where he didn't mind the stabbed but can still kiss her like that despite what he saw her did by killing those he cared about. I don't agree with the people who see it as the same (similarities yes, but not the exact same). TY was not heartless on YH whereas SY was heartless on TY.
She felt no remorse towards TY whereas TY even when he took it, it not only hurt YH but it also hurted him too.
So yeah there are parallels but there are differences as well.
I believe YH wouldn't label TY as the same as SY if she knew what TY sacrificed for her. But she didn't know in that moment so yeah can't blame her. Which makes the scene that played out later when she found out to be even more emotional IMO

We cannot blame YH for how she see it is the same because she doesn't know the whole truth(about what TY sacrificed for her), because from HER pov, she didn't know yet so that's understandable. She will find out later.
But as a viewer we can see it from both sides and determine if it's the same or not..
The same is, yes, TY did stab her get back his HPS to save the elves, and he did betrayed YH trust at the time.
The DIFFERENCE is... - TianYao wouldn't have done that in episode 16 it if there was another choice. Whereas SY plotted that from the beginning to earn his trust, made him fall for her and betrayed him! TY never plotted for YH to fall for him.. YH loves for TY came naturally.
- SY didn't value TY life at all... She was going to make a dragon armour out of him to protect her lover so that works as it was in TY place so the HPS can still be in effect . TY on the other hand DID value YH life.... he's different from SY in this area.

YH reasons is understandable from her pov (due to a misunderstanding which I won't reveal, that she will find out later)
