I don't think she know she lived because of the dark aura inside of her otherwise she wouldn't have tried so hard to remove it.

She thought that the Dark Lord use some method to "save" her life. And that dark aura is just a deal/transaction in return. YH doesn't want to be controlled by the dark aura hence she is trying her best to get back her freedom.

She misunderstood that the Dark Lord was the one who saved her (by his own method) when he didn't do anything to save her aside from the fact he planted the dark aura but this is something she doesn't know on her end that she survived because of TY Nine Stars.

YH didn't know that's why all this time she thought it was the Dark Lord that saved her when he didn't do anything to save her aside from planting that flower in her and giving her 3 months get the HPS from TY to him.

I actually love the contrast there. If you watched the official mv you will see how they made that scene felt like a contrast.

To me how TY feels for YH is much stronger and deeper where he didn't mind the stabbed but can still kiss her like that despite what he saw her did by killing those he cared about. He would rather die to save her instead of killing her... My heart was touched in that moment that's why I keep rewinding that scene because it really brought out the emotions in me 😭😭😍😍

I don't agree with the people who see it as the same (similarities yes, but not the exact same). TY was not heartless on YH whereas SY was heartless on TY.

She felt no remorse towards TY whereas TY even when he took it, it not only hurt YH but it also hurted him too.

So yeah there are parallels but there are differences as well.

I believe YH wouldn't label TY as the same as SY if she knew what TY sacrificed for her. But she didn't know in that moment so yeah can't blame her. Which makes the scene that played out later when she found out to be even more emotional IMO

There are differences to what TY did on YH when compared to what SY did on TY

We cannot blame YH for how she see it is the same because she doesn't know the whole truth(about what TY sacrificed for her), because from HER pov, she didn't know yet so that's understandable. She will find out later.

But as a viewer we can see it from both sides and determine if it's the same or not..

The same is, yes, TY did stab her get back his HPS to save the elves, and he did betrayed YH trust at the time.

The DIFFERENCE is...
- TianYao wouldn't have done that in episode 16 it if there was another choice. Whereas SY plotted that from the beginning to earn his trust, made him fall for her and betrayed him! TY never plotted for YH to fall for him.. YH loves for TY came naturally.

- SY didn't value TY life at all... She was going to make a dragon armour out of him to protect her lover so that works as it was in TY place so the HPS can still be in effect . TY on the other hand DID value YH life.... he's different from SY in this area.

For me personally, I will agree that what TY did in episode 16 is similar but NOT the same that is why he is redeemable to us because he never intended to kill her and theres no way I can hate him knowing what he sacrificed for her because that speaks volumes that he value her life above his own life. This was even before he know what will play out later when that bitch SY came into the scene. He's willingly give it to her without her needing to know. He's not doing it because he wants her to be grateful to him...He's doing it because if one day he's not there anymore , that thing he gave her will help him protect her in his place..

She lost her chance to become rich when she declined it 😅😅😅 I hope she will find out later though. Don't let all that money "pouch" goes to waste lol 🤣🤣🤣

YH reasons is understandable from her pov (due to a misunderstanding which I won't reveal, that she will find out later)

She never stopped loving him. She just.... Closed off her heart and well it's good to see TY doing the chasing this time around and thaw her heart.

YH didn't know what TY answer was exactly but when she said "Tianyao, how would you choose/what would your answer be? (I like how it shows she was curious about it because it shows she still does love him deep down ).

In episode 24 trailer from the scenes happening in there how TY will go against the whole world and even be branded a traitor by Qingqiu to protect YH, she would have gotten her answer to that question she asked.

It's a good scene to link it back to the question that YH once asked on her end.

Tian Yao will choose to protect her and go against the whole world. Love it!
