Everyone is different when it comes to what they think is a good scene and not so good scene. For me I still keep to how I feel about the kiss scene in this review.

Not sure if I remember that part in the novel though but they could at least explained it in the drama as well since non novel readers wouldn't know how it happened in the drama.

I guess I will have to see that episode on my end to determine if that is really the case or not..

I felt like Tantai Jin can be so misunderstood at times.

You know I am really going to feel sorry for Tantai Jin when he found out the true reason why Ye Xi Wu is:
(1) Trying so hard to save him and keep him alive all this time
(2) Trying so hard to get Tantai Jin to fall in love with her...

😭😭😭😭😭

Because this all comes in the form of "Betrayal" which is something that Tantai Jin cannot stand..

I'm sure this will hurt him a lot when that time comes and I am also sure that no matter how he comes to find out the truth, there is probably going to be hate but he still can't kill her since I believe his love/hate for her prevents him from doing it

Poor Tantai Jin though... It's sad that he said he wanted Ye Xi Wu true love and this is something she said(in her heart) she can't give him. But who's going to lie since I felt she already liked him although she doesn't know it yet.

First part of episode 18 made me cried at the Ming Ye and Sang Jiu scene 😭😭😭

But second part of this episode made me giggle and fangirl on Tantai Jin and Ye Xi Wu (Li Su Su) scenes!!! 🤣😂😍😍

P.S. I just love the fact that it implied (well it's obvious the case lol) that Tantai Jin cook/prepare a meal of the cooked goose was because they played a part in causing her to faint earlier lol... 🤣🤣 But honestly it's a cute gesture although those poor goose hahaha!!!

While a lot of people in here is Dissing Ming Ye, for me personally I do like him still, maybe not as much as I love Tantai Jin but to me Ming Ye is also a victim in this.

I may not agree or side with Ming Ye at certain times but I do feel sorry for him on my end.

He really tried to reverse the tragedy and make things right. If it weren't for that bitch than there wouldn't be this tragedy IMO. Sure Sang Jiu has sacrificed a lot to show us how much she loved him, but I also felt and can see that Ming Ye has sacrifice and showed me his love for her too.

In the end, they are both victims no matter which side perspective you're seeing this from. They deserve a second chance to be happy together but unfortunately they couldn't get that and this is just tragic...

My feelings to episode 17:

I don't know why I cried, but I cried in that scene when Ming Ye hugged Sang Jiu and told her how he really love the time they spend together in that small little hut 😭😭😭

I admit that I didn't like that Ming Ye came and save that bitch Tian Huan, like you come and save her NOW but not when that bitch was slautering Sang Jiu clan?!?! (But I can't blame him since he didn't know that all that happened at the time...)

I freaking hate the bitch so much so I AM SO GLAD SHE DIE... ALTHOUGH I WAS HOPING THAT SANG JIU PUNCHED HER FACE A FEW TIMES AND DISFIGURE HER FACE AND SLOWLY TORTURE HER BEFORE SHE IS KILLED!!!!

But honestly what's so sad about Sang Jiu and Ming Ye relationship is I know that Ming Ye really did all he could to save Sang Jiu and reverse the tragedy but because of all that has happened Sang Jiu couldn't forgive and give their relationship and love a second chance. I felt so sad and 💔 when Sang Jiu rejected Ming Ye, I can feel the pain in his eyes and expression and how hopeless their love and future is... All because of this irreversible path that Sang Jiu is walking on that she won't allow herself to be happy 😭😭😭😭

That ending kinda reminded me to "flying to the Moon" novel ending...

I think I would enjoy seeing that in the drama though. Hope we get that in the drama. Since I love seeing the ML putting in and showing his love and how much the love of his life means to him (well, it wouldn't be called "love of his life" if that's not the case lol)

Still hope for a HE for the Main CP after all they've been though...

I watched the Starry Love after the Journey of Chongzi and for me I don't like the Starry Love as much (I prefer TJOCZ better), but in the end that's my preference. Since everyone is different.

Question to those who read the novel

So did the original Sang Jiu die? Or is she still alive somewhere?

Since we know that Ming Ye is in his dragon form in that never-ending dream state because of his strong feelings for her... So I'm just wondering what happened to the original Sang Jiu?

It's the whole fact that she would resort to drugging him to get what she wanted is what is off-putting for some of us in here (me included). Since he was already drunk anyway. To me, all she have to do is make the first move and I'm 99% sure he will reciprocate.

We know what the drug does. Since it's explained in that scene. But I rather she didn't have to resort to using it to sleep with him for all said.

Don't like that she did it but I let it slide for the reasons stated in my previous comment.

Well I personally love The journey of chongzi ending.

Not so much on the starry love ending though.

Ohh , I know how you feel since I've been there done that...

That's how I felt for Song of the Moon Ending... I will never make peace with that ending on my end...

So for me personally I learn my lesson to not put my hopes up when it comes to ending..

Still , I secretly hope for a happy ending for my favourite CP for the dramas I am following though.. :(

For me I made a comment yesterday after I watched those two episodes and my reaction to when she drugged him was "urgh, why do you have to drug him for?" So honestly I am among those who wasnt comfortable with what happened, and yes I agree that what she did doesn't make her any better than that bitch Tian Huan because it makes her lose her innocence and charm for me, but what's done is done.

Like someone said in here, whether it's considered is "rape" or not, we have to take a look at Ming Ye if he show any signs of discomfort or being raped on his end...

For me I wish they never have her drugged him because it made their "love making" less genuine that you need to drug someone to do it...

But while I don't like that it played out that way , I let it slide because I know how Ming Ye felt about her and that Ming Ye didn't show any disgust that they did it

As for Tian Huan, she will do whatever to get Ming Ye attention for her own selfish gain even when Ming Ye doesn't show interest in her and she will result to killing innocent people just so she gets what she wants and she honestly really piss me off even more.

Well that being said for me I just want this dream arc to end since I want to go back to seeing TTJ and YXW

Oh well ...... I guess I will prefer for the worst...
