To be honest I cried when she died. I don't know if I can bring myself to fault A Fu in that scene since he was being controlled.

This whole thing is just sad.

I felt like if the Immortal Master didn't stop him than he would have had his redemption arc and this tragedy would have been avoided but the evil spirits took control and then this happened.

According to the trailer he will be released by episode 38.

Her death was sad. I personally don't find it funny on my end.

I am excited for episode 37 & 38, saw the trailer!!! And yeah that part about what happened to Luo Ning was sad. I felt sorry for all characters there except Immortal Master, I just want to punch Immortal Master so much after what he's done but the conflicting feelings I have is someone needs to push the plot moving and break the four seasons monument!!

A Fu literally ended up punishing himself for when he made Luo Ning drink the Phoenix tears against her will.

This would not have happened if he trusted her love for him even a little since he should know the effects of Pheonix tears.

But I won't deny that he did loved her even when that kind of love is not a healthy one....

Saw the trailer to episode 37 & 38 and I'm excited!!! Finally the story has pick back up!!

Ep 35 & 36

Poor Luo Ning...... I felt like there was two paths laid out for A Fu....One was what he wanted to repent when he was planning to go to the immortal realm to ask for forgiveness and that will start his redemption.... The other path was what he was forced to walk on because of the Evil Spirits controlling the Immortal Master....

Honestly is the Immortal Master even sane at this stage!!! I do hate him now but I feel conflicted since someone needs to be there to push them to break the four season monument to free the Dark God of Moon!!!

I did cried in the part when Luo Ning died though.... I felt sorry for all character involve except for the Immortal Master!

He Na has white hair now because of what happened, NO!!!! A Fu would go that far to do this to "revive" Luo Ning!!!

And omg omg, I was so happy that we finally had official confirmation that both God of Moon and God of Sun was in love!! I had that inkling it was them in the trailer to episode 36, glad I was right! But it's sad with what happened to them in the end... 😭😭😭 She showed mercy and didn't kill Dark God of Moon completely, and I still want to believe that God of Moon is still inside deep down even when the darkness has taken over.... Since he was surprised why God of Sun didn't use her Crown wheel.... It's like he's waiting for her to kill him or something 💔💔

I hope at the end of all this it will all work out for Liu Shao and Luo Ge!!

Comedic moments is more in the beginning and first arc. But yeah there's a balance of comedic and angsty moments.

I actually think Blue Whisper was okay not as painful lol.

For me ALP was painful but it's fast pace so that was okay.

I think every xianxia will have annoying characters but in the end for me if the pairing that I shipped is portrayed to go through everything together and support each other than I will ultimately enjoy the pairing story on my end.

But in the end how everyone like something is different so you never know until you tried.

I don't mind fast pace as long as the emotion is not lost and it gets to the point and doesn't drag out the unnecessary parts

I think if you watched Ancient Love Poetry and enjoyed it you probably will for this one as well.

I won't speak for AOL since I am not a fan of that drama. I only like the second pairing in that one lol.

As for Blue Whisper it's only painful because of the whole misunderstanding.

I disagree with your choice of words in your post because I can't relate to how you feel since what you like doesn't equate to making it interesting for everyone in here.

I will just speak about the main pairing since that's my favourite ship. I ship the main pairing so for me on the most part, the main pairing is touching and sweet. I don't feel any melodramatic for the main pair on my end since I love their chemistry and how they act out their emotions for each other especially ZBB (ML) love for FL perfectly.

They already have chemistry for me at the beginning but it got intensified during the second (immortal) arc.

There are some painful scenes but it gets resolve quickly so I'm fine with that.

I also love the FL strong love for the ML. It's one of the appeals that I love.
