It never heavily confirmed they were in love but there were subtle hints placed in the drama here and there so we just need to put together the pieces and this is what I love about dramas where they throw in hints to show us and we just guess and see if in the end we are right or not.

We've seen the in past what happened at least just a gist of it. Yes it was the God of Sun who killed God of Moon and sealed half of his heart that contained the darkness inside the Four Seasons Monument but when she did it she expresses disappointment and sadness on what he(God of Moon) has become, she said that he's no longer the person who shows compassion for the three realms. This reveal that they at least are close for her to say that.

Another hint thrown in was when God of Moon went into Luo Ge's mind where with the things he's telling Luo Ge is almost like he's teaching him a life lesson or something , he said that is it worth giving up what you really want for the sake of the three realms, you (Luo Ge) have someone you love yet you are afraid to face your feelings deep down. This leads me to think that God of Moon is just the side to Luo Ge where he is not restrained by the protection of the three realms and just want to follow his own heart etc and do what he wants. And God of Moon did said to Luo Ge that what he experienced, he will experience too, what he can't have , he won't be able to get as well(of course I hope this time it will be different), and in the end he will eventually become him (God of Moon ) hinting that the path Luo Ge is walking on is similar to the path God of Moon once walked on back then of course there will be differences since it's not exactly the same.

And also the part about the Soul Devouring Spell and Phoenix Tear both have one thing in common, and that's love.

One is to forbid you from falling in love but it doesn't stop you from falling in love. If you don't fall in love the spell won't activate but if you do fall in love then you are being reminded of how painful it is through the spells activation to love is. I felt like when God of Moon created this spell was to show his despair on what love made him feel

And for Phoenix tear is for you to forget the feelings of love etc

Which I gathered that these two spells is created respectively from God of Moon and God of Sun how they both once have love for each other yet in the end this love brought them nothing but sadness and hurt in the end from what happened. God of Moon hurt from God of Sun for not believing in him when he told her that no matter how much he's changed he's still him and God of Sun feelings for God of Moon how he's no longer the person she once knew or love. Thus could be how the two spells was born.

From the FL side of things there is probably going to be growth for Liu Shao since we see her working hard to cultivate and get stronger in the latest episodes but for me I just love Liu Shao for showing me her strong love on how she just wants to stand by Luo Ge side and help him because I love to see this in a pairing that I ship. It is better than any unnecessary misunderstanding IMO.

As for the novel I have read a little of it but the novel didn't captivate me as much as the drama did. The novels character portrayal and story is different to the drama as well.

P.S. while we have different opinions about Liu Shao portrayal, I'm glad you enjoyed reading my thoughts to this matter.

I hope when God of Moon becomes one with Luo Ge we learn more about his back story and what exactly happened. I'm interested to finding this out.

And please just kill that bitch Bai Feng at this stage...

The only reason I disagree is I see that they both care for each other equally but just have different ways of showing it.

As for God of Moon, I am more interested to seeing him coming to surface and learning about his back story.

We can agree to disagree about A Fu seeing how I personally can't stand A Fu right now.

I am not sure why you pointed out 1 and 2 for me since I didn't even mention about that topic.

First I don't agree with the whole He Na cares for Luo Ge more. They both equally cared for each other imo, just have different ways to show it.

A Fu had done many bad things that cannot be excused at this point because he is also putting both He Na at risk through his attempts to hurt Liu Shao repeatedly.

Luo Ge already suspects that it was A Fu and we know how much he cares about both Liu Shao and Luo Ning when A Fu is involved.

Luo Ge actually gave He Na some face when he didn't go to his underwater kingdom to trash the place like when he first did when he found out through Liu Shao that the harp string came from the Aquatic demon. When He Na asked to see Luo Ge, he was even surprised why he didn't summon him to the Litian Hall where everyone was present instead he just have a private talk with him. He didn't want to make a scene on his end and he wanted to tell He Na about A Fu privately and let him handle this since it belongs to his family and the demon clan responsibilities and he as the demon king should not keep excusing the things A Fu did repeatedly plotting to bring chaos to the immortal realm and hurt those he care for.

And also you need to try to see it from Luo Ge's perspectives , Zhe Sui past with the Demon king ended tragically, he loves his sister alot and he only wants to prevent the tragedy from happening again and it's not like A Fu has done anything to convince Luo Ge he's a decent person...

Luo Ge knew about He Na injured hand or arm and I'm sure that Dragon water vein that he gave He Na spent a lot of effort for him to find as well so he genuinely do care for He Na as much as He Na does on him.

When He Na wanted to get his brother back, Luo Ge did NOT outright reject him, he gave him 3 years time to have the demons under his control for the safety of the three realms and when that time comes he promise he will return A Fu to him...

But guess what A Fu was doing all this time while in the immortal palace when Luo Ge even gave him a place to stay where there's water around so he doesn't die from it... A Fu was plotting all this to hurt Liu Shao and when Luo Ge found out that A Fu took Luo Ning away despite Luo Ge know what kind of person he is... He Na said to please forgive his brother and Luo Ge just told him to bring his sister back and not make a scene out of it

When Liu Shao went to He Na to collect Luo Ning, she communicated with Luo Ge and Luo Ge didn't mind Luo Ning and Liu Shao staying g at He Na place for a couple of days that goes to show that while Luo Ge is worried...
He still trusts He Na on his end so this already shows me how much he cares for He Na on his end as much as He Na does for Luo Ge.

Just because He Na doesn't get Liu Shao, Luo Ge should not be held accountable for He Na's unhappiness for not getting the FL.... love is love... This is why I personally don't like LT because the third person suffers from it...

And one thing I want to raise is that Luo Ge while he can be seen jealous of He Na but he does hold a high regard to He Na's character and personality because he can entrust Liu Shao to him when he's not there like that part where he got He Na and Liu Shao out of the cave...

So for me, I don't see He Na cares for Luo Ge more than Luo Ge on him... As a matter of fact, Luo Ge has contributed his fair share if not more to show he values He Na as his friend.... to be able to trust him like this.

Bai Feng is a lost cause, she is just delusional at this stage...

Honestly I don't mind gray characters, as a matter of fact I find them interesting but the reason why I don't like A Fu right now is because what he's showing me is he made mistakes but he doesn't man up to his actions instead he just blame Liu Shao or Luo Ge for hurting his brother when HE'S the one who is indirectly doing this to cause his brother suffering... If A Fu have a redemption arc then I may change my opinion about him just like how I did for Xie Lingqi but for now I don't like A Fu for what he's shown me. He needs to realize that if he wants happiness than he can't hurt those he cares for whether directly or not. It doesn't give him happiness but only despair. See how the demon king turned out in the past... I don't want this tragedy to happen again because Luo Ning deserves better....

Since others have answered the other part I will just stress on the FL part and her love for Luo Ge (Lu Li)

Personally I have no problems with Liu Shao on my end and how she expresses her love and she would do anything to be with Luo Ge since it shows how powerful her feelings for him is and as a shipper I love that.

As for why she is like this , I think it's more of a contrast to their past life being God of Moon and God of Sun. In the past it was implied that they were in love, at least so much more clear where hints are there showing on the God of Moon side. Both had their roles and duties to carry out in the past as God's where they put their responsibilities above love, more so on the God of Sun side , and she didn't believe in God of Moon in the past even when he already told her that no matter how he's changed he's still him.

God of Sun was someone who put her responsibility for the peace of the three realms above her love/feelings for God of Moon (as he's become a threat), so why Liu Shao holds her love and feelings above anything else is more so like a contrast to who she was in the past perhaps due to regret or due to a change of destiny so the past tragedy won't play out again.

Remember that the drama likes to reference a high note on Belief. Liu Shao learned it the hard early on, when she almost lost Lu Li to not believe in what she sees or hears as it could be more than what's shown. So she made a promise to always believe in Lu Li(now Luo Ge), see how this highlights back to her past life as God of Sun since she didn't believe in God of Moon on her end.

So I see that there's a development in her character looking at these comparisons and it's not like she will sit back and do nothing on her end. Her undying love and how she wants to protect Luo Ge too and not have her spiritual powers influence Luo Ge is what make her character loveable to me. Besides Luo Ge is always helping her realize and cultivating her with her powers as well.

So for me I am loving what I am seeing of how Liu Shao is being written so far. Although some might not see this my way but this is how I see it.

I strongly disagree with the "If Liu Shao dies it will be a blessing for Luo Ge"

And I dont understand how anyone can even think that.

I used to like A Fu earlier on and thought he wasn't so bad. But right now, I feel sorry for He Na but not A Fu. After all A Fu did to hurt those characters we love and plot with Bai Feng to hurt the characters I love , cant have much sympathy for him

And I don't agree with that statement since both Liu Shao and Luo Ge cares for He Na as a friend. Luo Ning also cares for A Fu too but A Fu continuosly hurt her beloved friends and family so honestly before I can even feel bad for A Fu, he needs to earn it first.

The character portrayal in the novel and drama is different as well as the story, I mean if it's the same I would have finished reading the novel by now so I can get some sort of reassurance on my end what happened.

Personally for me in the overall the drama appeals to me more, and hope it stays that way for me

I love that sweet scene where Liu Shao was playing at the swing and Luo Ge was pushing it from behind. That was really nice to see between them

I can tell these are scenes where it's calm before the storm...

I don't have that information to tell you about A Fu and He Na since like I said I am not completely finish with the novel yet.

Honestly have to say that I love to see a mix of Luo Ge and Lu Li's personality when he's around Liu Shao. I hope it will spice things up when he become one with God of Moon

I wonder when Immortal Master was telling Luo Ning about the past of Zhe Sui, was it really him or was it God of Moon which is possessing him since at that time he was pretty much under the influence. Besides no one knows the story in detail besides him right... Well I'm guessing here.

I love these two episodes

I am actually intrigued as to why God of Moon will interrupt and stopped Liu Shao from sealing her Sun spirit, like to the point that he cares that he doesn't want the God of Sun spirit sealed or something.

While Liu Shao couldn't seal her sun spirit, I really hope it will work out for the best between them , but I do love that Luo Ge didn't scold her for being reckless in her decision but instead he tried to understand why she did it. I also love how he made the decision to also show Liu Shao to the mortal realm that her Sun spirit is worth keeping and Liu Shao find a new purpose why she wanted to get stronger on her end so she can help Luo Ge protect the three realms against the evil(but they really should find a way to stop their influential in their spiritual powers!!!)

Personally I call it a date when Luo Ge took Liu Shao to the mortal realm. But honestly Immortal Master is starting to get on my nerves more than before now that he's under the evil mind control....

Bai Feng should just go to hell and suffer !!!! God she is an eyesore and I hate her delusion there!!!

I'm glad A Fu got his punishment but Luo Ning is right that 100 years is too less for him.....

I also love the part when Luo Ge gave Wan Sui the medicine to help cure He Na's arm. I like seeing these two friendship there. Even when Luo Ge is jealous lol XD

Wan Sui really sometimes have a big mouth lol. He shouldn't have said that in front of A Fu...

I love how it revealed how the God of Moon cursed the Aquatic demons back then and how it all played out. A little back story and revelation there but what I also love the most is how the Demon King back then made a comment how aside from "both" God of Moon and God of Sun, everyone in the three realms will bow down and show him the respect lol. Like back then both God of Moon and God of Sun were in seclusion at the same time. I like the subtle hint there which how I interpret it that they're always together.

Ep 31 and 32

Yeah I know the novel ending since I jumped to the ending chapter to read what happened, before I start from the novel beginning.

In the ending Yue (God of Moon) was looking everywhere for Liu Shao again. Eventually he was able to find her and they got their happy ending in the novel. I just hope that the drama will follow through for Luo Ge and Liu Shao.

I didn't finish reading the novel in a sequenced order to know what exactly happened from Mid to the ending.

I haven't been reading the novel much to be honest because the novel character portrayal and story is different to the drama.

I at least hope that they will stay true to the ending for the main pairing where it's a HE even if it's a last minute one...

And the way when he said that to her, his tone was so soft too, and I'm like ❤️❤️

Noooo!!!! I want Luo Ge and Liu Shao to get their happy ending at least!! 😭😭😭

I agree as of the moment from what I am seeing A Fu is a selfish bastard who blames others for hurting the people he "cares" about and not knowing that he was the one who is indirectly hurting both He Na and Luo Ning by what he's doing.

He Na did say to A Fu that if he continues to be like this one day he will regret and how I wish I can see that soon!

He asked He Na if he know anything about it. Of course He Na can refuse to help. Luo Ge does care for He Na as a friend but honestly at this stage, it's his brother A Fu that is constantly indirectly putting his brother in danger because he wanted Liu Shao dead and keeps hurting her...

Luo Ge already showed leniency by not going to their place and take his sister back by force but he gives He Na a chance to convince his brother A Fu, by not making a scene.

I actually love the friendship between He Na and Luo Ge, but I am just tired of all this plotting by A Fu working with that bitch Bai Feng at this stage.

The one who is hurting He Na indirectly is A Fu but all he knows is just blaming it on Liu Shao or Luo Ge....A Fu needs to be stopped. Of course Luo Ge can do it on his end but he didn't want to go that far since he still care how He Na would feel that's why he hinted to He Na when they had the talk in episode 30 that he should do something about A Fu or keep an eye on him or whatever since, if anything that is already leniency on Luo Ge's part and he showed that because he considered He Na his friend too....
