In the drama, Lu Li is the half heart of Luo Ge which Luo Ge sent to the mortal realm to go through the human tribulation before ascending to an Immortal. His physical body at that time (as Luo Ge) was in seclusion all this time. So in the drama, Lu Li and Luo Ge is the same person. When Lu Li "died", he (like all mortal trial ) will return back to the original body of the immortal being(in this case, Luo Ge).

God of Moon (from the past) is no longer alive, Luo Ge is the other half heart to God of Moon which was reincarnated to the good/pure side.

The other half heart (God of Moon) which contained the "darkness" is sealed inside the four seasons monument tablet by the God of Sun (Liu Shao's past life), so if the half heart (God of Moon) that is sealed became one with Luo Ge, then Luo Ge will be complete again, which was said he will regain his God status when that happens. Of course Luo Ge didn't want to become one with his other half heart due to the darkness since he wanted to still protect the three realms on his end and remain in the light and cultivate his way up as a God in his own method.

I think it is only a matter of time before they become one again, I felt like God of Moon is so misunderstood and I personally don't really see him as evil..He's more of the side to Luo Ge that is not bounded by his responsibilities, like the unrestrained side to him that he won't hold back or talk about protecting the three realms as a form of "justice" but more to the side to him who became someone who just want to protect those he wants to protect without letting the rules restrained him or something..Anyways that's my guess on what I've gathered.

So my guess is if all three of them merge / became one, then I do think at first the dark side will prevail but when that dark side is defeated, then Luo Ge will return to being a God through this method, but he will have his complete memories intact which also contain the God of Moon memories (his past life) since the other half heart , God of Moon doesn't have a physical body, so it can only return to Luo Ge where his heart is complete again.

I think in the latest episode he referred to the Supreme God as the one who was sealed since he said something about "does a supreme god need to speak through a demon", I interpreted that as him referring to the God of Moon that was sealed. Since he was using Ao Hen's (was that the name lol) son to talk through him. So I didn't think he was referring to himself there.

But yeah let's just wait and see in the next episode. This whole waiting is a torture 😅

Since God of Sun is Liu Shao past life.

I always see that when he becomes one with the other half heart that is sealed away he will regain his god status since he only have half heart not a complete one.

The other half did said that he's Luo Ge's complete self so they eventually will have to become one on their end. I think when that happens and after they defeat that darkness in the other half then that's when Luo Ge will have his complete memories on his end especially what happened in the past.

- Just how much Luo Ge values his love/memories he have for Liu Shao, that not even in death do he want to forget about her/or his love for her, that's something really powerful that I love. I think Luo Ge (before all this), even if they can't be together before all this; he still didn't want to forget about her/his love for her, so he's always have been someone who did value his love/memories he have for Liu Shao when she made her way into his heart again. It made me understand why he didn't want to drink the Pheonix Tear all this time; even when he gave one drop to Liu Shao back in that episode (at least he told her what it does, and let her make a choice and not having to force upon her to take it).

- The Kiss was really emotional to me; it shows their emotions and how much they both love each other and I love that

- The whole battle to get rid of the Soul Devouring spell. I still love how it was portrayed like that, where the Soul Devouring Spell and Pheonix Tear was having an internal battle, and how the Soul Devouring Spell was said it's afraid of the Pheonix Tear, up to the point where Luo Ge traps the Soul Devouring spell inside his body (even when it wanted to escape) until it's finally gone. I love the background music in that scene, like, please if someone know the title/cover, let me know. Oh and did I mention that Zhang Binbin is really great with acting out his pain/these painful scenes, like, I really enjoyed watching it (Sorry Luo Ge, it doesn't mean I want to see you in pain XD, just, you know I love the way you expresses it through your capable acting ability that gives me all the feels T.T)

If there's 3 things that made me appreciate Episode 26 is....

ME THREE!!! (That's the complete side to him), I've been wanting to see on my end, the unrestrained side to him that I love!

Ok, the only reason I disagree with you is because episode 26 is the latest aired episode (as of now), and for me, there's already chemistry between them way before this episode. True chemistry or not doesn't argue the fact that there is already a strong chemistry between the main leads before episode 26 as evidently shown in some of those scenes , starting with when he return as Luo Ge, and when it shows how he started to care for her, and how her words can affect him so much, so for me personally, their chemistry was intense and already present way before episode 26

Ohh that song (just watched that scene again to double-check), yeah, I agree, it does give me the ALP vibe there.

That's why the part when Luo Ge turned around to kiss her was so emotional to me, because it's filled with emotion in that scene <3

I think of emotional aspects it reminds me of LAR instead.

As Lu Li and Liu Shao, they have good chemistry early on.

But as Luo Ge and Liu Shao, their chemistry was intense. Especially when Luo Ge expresses these through his eyes and body language.

So their chemistry was already there way before this episode 26 IMO.

Plus unlike other Xianxia when they did the mortal trial , where their immortal body stays in the immortal place(in seclusion) and they sent their other half to the mortal realm to start the mortal trial , the second one for Luo Ge physical body went with him as well.

I guess you can say Luo Ge second mortal trial to get rid of the Soul Devouring spell is similar to Bai Qian in TMOPB get sent to the mortal realm when her immortal powers get sealed to start her tribulation before ascending to high god. She was in her adult form too but just without her memories

I don't think you have the time to go through the baby to death stage.

His intentions was not to experience those emotions of mortal trials but to rid the soul devouring spell as it was said episode 25 & 26.

So the writers probably thought it would make more sense to wrap it up quicker to have Luo Ge in his adult form but memories not being there like every mortal trial.

But one thing I do like is (and I'm speaking because I am not into amnesia plots) even when the memories is not there but the feelings and love is. So I like that personally.

I don't think he will die but the Dark Yue will take over his body and when that happens they will probably try to defeat the dark side and once that's done the two hearts will become one and Luo Ge will probably remembers his Past of when he was the God of Moonlight and why he became what he did in the end.

Luo Ge and Liu Shao better have a happy ending at the end of this!

AOL = Ashes of Love

I agree with SOTM being similar to ALP vibes but not AOL. For me I didn't like AOL main pairing story.

As for IS, I didn't get into it even when I was anticipating that drama for a while now since the story didn't really captivate me nor is the chemistry between the pairing so yeah couldnt finish it IS on my end

Luo Ge has the half heart of God of Moon(he's the reincarnation to the God of Moon) and his powers is the key to stabilize Xiyun Mountain. If something bad happens to Luo Ge, or if his immortal powers is not stabilize it can affect Xiyun mountain as well(but I am not going to further spoil this to you. You have to watch it to see for yourself , it is visually explained there). Like I have told you before, if Dark Yue(God of Moon), that was sealed inside the Four Seasons Monument becomes one with Luo Ge, he will be God of Moon again. Since Luo Ge is the half heart to the original God of Moon. Luo Ge have the most (if not, only) potential to ascend to God, so because of that being one of the reasons, he's the one in charge there.

2. The Moon Sword was a weapon that belongs to God of Moon, so whether it's Lu Li or Luo Ge, they both can use that sword since he is the Moon Sword's master. Liu Shao gave the sword back to Lu Li when their misunderstanding was cleared, and when Lu Li dies and return back to Luo Ge, the sword recognizes it's master since Luo Ge is the other half to God of Moon , so it followed Luo Ge back when he left.

It's part of her character growth, you will see it when you watch on.

To be honest, to see and hear with your own eyes and ears, it's not completely unreasonable why she would misunderstand, but at the end of the day, it's all to push the plot forward, and she did developed and learn from it. I won't spoil the details for you, you can see when you watch on.

Personally for me I am liking what I am seeing of the FL (Liu Shao) so far. She does have cons but she is not completely unlikeable. At least she is really loyal/faithful to her love for Lu Li/Luo Ge

Immortal Samsara I just couldn't get into after giving it a couple of attempts so for me I also personally love Song of the Moon better.
