Tbh, I rather they end up as an immortal couple but an unrestrained one after the war ended.

I hope for a happy ending but at the same time I am trying to not put my hopes up too high to avoid disappointment 😅 I guess we will have to wait and see.

I didn't read the full sequence on what happened since I just kinda jumped to the last chapter which was an extra or something but from what I've gathered in the novel is FL sacrifice herself and Yue was searching for her soul on his end , in which in the end he was able to find her again. They did get together in the end though.

When I read it in chronological order and understand the context up to the point I will let you know.

I don't know how the drama ending will be. I just hope it won't be a disappointment. I am still rooting for a happy ending for them. If Liu Shao did sacrifice herself or something and if Luo Ge have to find her again (which is kinda similar to the opening theme), then as long as they meet each other again and show them happy I am content.

There was also a scene not sure if you have seen the clip , where Luo Ge was openly affectionate towards Liu Shao, and I hope that to be an extended to their happy ending or something. I really hope we can get that later in the episodes after all this.

But then these are just my guesses going by what I've gathered on the scenes.

Yeah well I've always hated that curse anyway and I can't forgive Lu Sheng for placing that on Lu Li back then!

It's a lot of differences from what I've encountered..

Characters and story portrayal is not exactly the same.

The beginning is the same where Yue (which is the God of Moon name), made a deal with Liu Shao by changing her future in exchange that she will get 3 days happiness and Yue in this time will do whatever she wanted (as long as it's within his power ) and you get to see in detail what they did as well. He also have a loyal servant that follows him and I like their interactions to be honest it's never a dull moment when they talk XD.

But Liu Shao in the novel is not the only daughter she also have a brother which her parents favor the brother over her since the brother is the heir to the family, Liu Shao does feel neglected though but she's also like a spoiled princess. Personally for me, I love Liu Shao portrayal in the drama over the novel on my end

Yue (God of Moon) never died. So that's a difference there.

Liu Shao was also sold into that place and she was raised and brought up into a harsh environment where the strong lives , kinda like a survival game. And they were trained to become killers / assassinsShe was sold to that place by his father because he needed the money to cure their son....

That's also where she met Lu Li for the first time. Lu Li's personality is not like the drama where's he's the sunny type and expresses his feelings openly.. in the novel he's quite reserved and he's not actually real , more like a clone which Yue disguises to stay with Liu Shao. Well from what I got out of it, like the hints are there.

So Lu Li and Bai Feng weren't raised by Lu Sheng in the Novel.

Yue was revealed clearly that he was never evil from the start but he just wanted to achieve something which is for a greater good and he needed Liu Shao to accomplish that since this is something she could do.

Little Liu Shao had grown fond of Yue during the three days and she said she wanted to marry him when she grows up lol.

Well Lu Li did die in the novel but Liu Shao doesn't know the truth behind Lu Li's real identity.

These are just a few differences between novel and drama

In the novel it was said Yue did something that not even heaven and earth can forgive so he was banished from the God Realm.

But to be honest, between the novel and drama, I personally love the drama better due to I love how the characters (on the majority of it) is written and the story touched me more. I also love Liu Shao in the drama better as well.

But for the novel it does have its good moments too however I am not as invested in the novel as I am with the drama since if I am with the novel I would have finished it by now. I did jumped to the ending to check if it was a happy ending or not before reading from the beginning.

In the novel though I will tell you that from where I was up to is that Liu Shao needs to go through a lot since childhood but she misunderstood and resented Yue when he left her after the 3 days because she thought that he didn't care about her but truth is that he was secretly protecting her all this time and while he doesn't say it he does care about her.

But well these are just to enlighten you lol.

I don't think it's because of the festivities again seeing that there's also a gap in the next week until the following week as well since if not then this drama will not need to take until the 10th Jan to finish airing for VIP members.

I just wish I have the last episode right now so I can see the ending and I really hope the ending won't disappoint since I want to see some development for the main pair and Luo Ge and Liu Shao getting their happy ending (at least the novel they got a happy ending), even when the novel is different to the drama. But it's not translated to English so yeah.

I want to see LG love LS in an unrestrained way too, but what I meant in that comment is that if choosing to protect the three realms comes at the cost where you can't love or have such emotions (which felt like what Dark God of Moon) was saying to LG, then I don't mind if he let go of such responsibilities since LG is being tied down by it which makes him forbid himself to be happy and to love openly.

Of course I also want to see them finding a way where they can love freely and protect the three realms without having to give up the emotions of love and your desire to be with the one you love. At the end of the day, I just want them to be able to openly love and LG can love LS in an unrestrained way because that is what I want to see from him.

There's several things to overcome in order for them to finally be together...

First things first, again that curse definitely need to go so Luo Ge can be free to love her without suppressing it!

Second, their powers that influence each other I think it only applies when they are injured or one of them is injured, since at the beginning it was okay or perfectly fine but I like to believe that what the herb master said is true that plants that repel each other can grow and be put together perfectly fine....

Third... At this point I don't want Luo Ge to protect the three realms anymore if it comes at the expense of giving up his love and happiness...

I just want to see them happy and especially Luo Ge being openly affectionate on his end, and there's this scene that reassured me that there will come that day, since Luo Ge was openly affectionate there. I love that scene too but I don't see Luo Ge expressing that not unless he got that development to accept and not suppress his love for Liu Shao anymore.

I know the three realms is important but is it worth protecting it at the expense of giving up his own happiness? He got such a heavy responsibility there but if it comes at the expense of giving up his happiness and love for Liu Shao then I rather he not stick to that responsibility or path...Yue(God of Moon) does have a point with what he said.... I hope Luo Ge comes to see that point too...

Yeah me too, I felt the same and at the rate the angst is going I just want him to become one with Luo Ge again since that way he's complete.

They keep thinking he's the bad guy but I see him as the complete version to him with all things intact. Complete memories and him not being bounded by a huge responsibilities and I honestly like what he said to Luo Ge when he went inside him , it's almost like he's teaching him an important lesson.

Honestly I love Luo Ge too but I want to see him developing into someone who can accept his love and feelings for Liu Shao and not suppress it anymore.

But first things first, that curse needs to go!

More like reincarnation. But yeah, it is rather ironic. I don't know why Yue (Moon God) came to make that spell in the end.

Liu Shao have the same face as the Sun God, so it was implied that she's the God of Sun reincarnation. So the moment she was born, she's not any ordinary human going by that theory.

The order of how this is may be kind of confusing, but my guess is that, when Yue changed Liu Shao's future, that's him but not 'physically' him, more like his last-breath/a spirit of him that he have intact before he disappears. The rest of the Dark Yue (is locked away in the Four Monument Tablet) and the Good side to him was reincarnated into Luo Ge.

When Dark Yue and Luo Ge becomes one, they will be complete again.

Yue wouldn't have done that before he goes dark, seeing that the God of Sun is already reincarnated.

When Yue is in that black cloak, it would be implied that he already goes "dark".

To be honest, I felt that Dark Yue or this darkness is just the side to him that is not bound by any duties, or he could be someone who have been through so many things that made him lose hope in the three realms. In the end; he's just the side to him that wants to protect those he wants to protect. Lu Sheng's flashback has shown me the side to Yue (God of Moon) where he is kind, and he teaches him magic/formation. Maybe Yue being misunderstood is a better word for it.

But again, Yue (God of Moon) is shrouded in so many mystery, I don't know, those are just my guesses, there could be a real reason why he became like that; but we won't know until it's been revealed to us.

If Luo Ge drinking the Pheonix Tear, I hope the only thing it will achieve is ridding the Soul Devouring Spell, and not his love for Liu Shao.... I mean the Pheonix Tear originates from the Sun of God, so.... One can hope.

And Dark Yue(God of Moon) said that it's only a matter of time where Luo Ge and him will become one again. But something needs to really trigger it for him to falls into darkness and give Dark Yue that opening.... If he succeeds in this trial, it wouldn't give Dark Yue that opening, so I was thinking what if Luo Ge when he returns found out what they did to Liu Shao, where they have sacrificed her in all this! [They are pretty heartless imo if they actually did sacrifice her... ]

I mean, it's proven that Liu Shao is his (Luo Ge's) weakness/inner demons, so that might even give Dark Yue the opening to take over where he and Luo Ge became one again. I like this plot over the whole memory loss route again...... LOL

My mind is thinking all these scenarios while waiting for the future episodes to air!!!

I wish I have the answer to reassure you; but the novels unfortunately do not have the answer to that question since the drama and novel is different in terms of story and character portrayal.

If LG loses his memories. I still wish he didn't!! Then at least not drag it out and let him remember (Please just don't lose the feelings/love he has for Liu Shao though!)

It is not so much about losing the memories again that bothers me (although I will be lying if I say it doesn't because it does too), but I didn't like that from what I found out, Liu Shao is also giving Pheonix Tears (!!!!!) to the mortal "Lu Li" because I am still so annoyed/pissed about that, like "Why!!!" [I hope it will prove to be ineffective in the end because I just have too many thing to angst about at this stage, and waiting for these episodes too]

I am not going to go by the novel (which I am currently reading) for my answer to this; since (1) I have yet to finish and (2) the Characters and story is very different to the drama, so I can't answer that for you.

I wish I do have the novel as references to how the drama is played out though... At least it gives me some reassurances while waiting for the episodes.

Err, well, this is going to be some major spoilers LOL

Yue (The God of Moon) came to little Liu Shao to change her future at her choice in exchange he will give her 3 days of happiness and do whatever she wants. He did it so Liu Shao future can be tied to what's happening now, do many great things / immortal side of things, if not, then she will just live her life as a normal mortal and get married off to some rich family or something. That exchange for 3 days happiness, was the deal in exchange if she accepts, then Yue can change her fate/future.

Drama Liu Shao did said that she never regretted that choice, because she never regretted meeting Lu Li. Just to not confuse you, the one in the black cloak at the beginning that changed her future in exchange he give her 3 days happiness and do whatever she says/wants in those 3 days is Yue (God of Moon), not Lu Li or Luo Ge(since they were reborn after Yue died). We also was shown of a scene where Little Lu Li said to his master (Lu Sheng) that he had a dream last night where he dream that he take a girl and was flying around to different places with her; so that is hint that it is tied to him(and Luo Ge, since LL is an extension of Luo Ge, where he sent to the mortal realm to do the human tribulation), and Yue is his past self.

The Aquatic Demon's (White Demon King World) was cursed by Yue (the original God of Moon), due to what happened to his sister and the original Demon King's love relationship, where he caused the death of his (Yue/God of Moon's) sister. So current state, the person they've been wanting to find/revive again, at least from A-Fu's end is Yue (God of Moon) because since he was the one who placed the curse on their Clan/Tribe, he hope that Yue will be the one to lift that curse on his end, so they can see the light, and walk on land again. He Na (the current white demon king) can walk on land, yes, but his powers weakens if he's not near water (so that's the down/side effect to it).

The Two couple, are the past self to..... current Luo Ning (Luo Ge's sister) , Luo Ning is the reincarnated version to Yue sister (from the past). The lover is not He Na, but I believe it was A-Fu past life(since it feels like their fate is tied again together in this lifetime), that part about A-Fu is my guess, it's not solid conclusion and confirmed yet.

I don't see God of Moon or God of Moonlight to be any different, in the end, it is just a representation of the Moon, and in the novel, the God of Moon name is Yue, so that's why I have been calling him Yue, so it's easier to differentiate.

Lu Li's soul devouring spell was never lifted, so when Lu Li return back to Luo Ge's body; it didn't activate at first because Luo Ge didn't remember his feelings/memories with Liu Shao; and when he did start to like her; he didn't come to face his feelings, not until when he entered Liu Shao's dream to wake her up, that's when Luo Ge said and finally admitted how he really feels, thus him accepting that he and Lu Li is the same, and still love Liu Shao, and this is the root that activated the Soul Devouring Spell.

This spell is not a mortal spell, because a Mortal spell shouldn't affect an immortal like that. This was a spell that was placed on him by Lu Sheng, and Lu Sheng learned all his magic/formation etc from Yue (God of Moon) so it is considered a 'God Spell/Magic', since it was Yue's (God of Moon) inventions.

So yeah... It unfortunately works and activated on Luo Ge when he accepted his feelings for Liu Shao on his end.

I am hoping (praying hard!) when Luo Ge and Dark Yue becomes one, Yue can lift this curse himself..... because someone needs to lift it!

First time was okay; since it was refreshing, but not repetitively... T__T I didn't mind that Luo Ge is doing the trial again because I believe Lu Li will fall for Liu Shao again, but I believed that Luo Ge will remember what happen this time in the Mortal Realm because he's been through it, but aahhhhhhh [Just give me all the episodes in one go, so I don't have to angst for it days until I can watch for the next to reassure me it will all be okay]
