Honestly, I am getting tired of the memory loss. At this point I am really rooting for Dark Yue (God of Moon) to be released and become one with Luo Ge again (I love you Luo Ge, trust me I do), but is it so goddamn hard that the writers to not go the 'loss of memories' route...

I wish I didn't see the spoilers to Ep 25-28 (according to Youtube).... I hope there's more to it than what I am seeing because; it's too much angst.. and after Ep 26, we won't be getting a new episode until the 1st Jan and I can't watch this until the 2nd!! T^T (And I can't wait that long!! T__T)

Luo Ge and Liu Shao better get a happy ending after all this; they've been through so much and they really deserve that happy ending!!!

That AND the whole spell / curse!!! T^T. I hope that most of all it will be lifted in the end. I hope Yue/God of Moon (yeah, I call him that since it easier to say his name and differentiate) will somehow lift that curse in the end!!!

It just makes me so sad, when Luo Ge expresses how he truly feels "If I don't have the responsibilities to protect all creatures in this world. And if our spiritual powers don't interfere with each other, how great that would be" <-- It really shows that's how he truly feels; but in the end, he still wants to carry out his responsibilities in protecting the three realms and sacrificing his own happiness by doing so. So I do agree that LL is like Qing Mu and Luo Ge is like Bai Jue. Liu Shao has always been strong about her love for him; but poor Luo Ge, he have to sacrifice his happiness/love for the protection of walking on that path in protecting the three realms...

That's what makes Luo Ning sad and said that to him, and what Dark Yue said to Luo Ge that "is it worth to cut away love to protect the three realms and become an immortal / god? In the end, it will only make you lose your true self, and hurt those you love". To be honest, I am really getting a strong sense of feeling is that Dark Yue really understands Luo Ge and how he's feeling, because he's been through it on his end, he is such a mysterious person!! I really want to know more about him and why he did what he did!! But it feels like Yue to me is the side to him that is not bound back/felt restrained to do the things he wants to do.

I hope that after this trial/tribulation is over; it serves as some further development to their relationship or something and make them realize this truth especially when this time, it is Luo Ge personally undergoing this human trial/tribulation on his end. If he goes back/return as Luo Ge, he better remembers what happen this time LOL.

I don't know where you are up to, so if you want to know the backstory, then in the drama, both of them are God's in the past.

ML is the God of Moon (Yue) and FL is the God of the Sun. But they both died and have reincarnated now as the ML (Luo Ge) and FL (Liu Shao).

We don't know exactly why Yue (God of Moon) went dark but we've seen that the God of Sun, have expressed sadness and disappointment when she questioned that Yue (God of Moon) is no longer the person she once knew, no longer the person who have compassion for the three realms.

To me, I believe Yue (God of Moon) isn't truly evil, at least not the true him because we've seen how kind he was back then when he was the one who adopted Lu Sheng (which is Lu Li's master in the mortal realm) and Yue was also the one who accompanied little Liu Shao who is in that black cloak (when he changed Liu Shao's fate/future). So Yue (God of Moon) to me isn't evil.

According to the Novel (which is quite different to the drama), the God Realm no longer exists, so there's no God now.

In the past, it was revealed, that they they both battled; and the God of Sun killed the God of Moon and sealed half of his heart (with darkness) inside the 4 Tablets(don't remember the name of that), and Luo Ge was born which is the other half heart of the God of Moon, that is the pure/good side to the God of Moon.

If Dark Yue (God of Moon) and Luo Ge becomes one (where both half/half of each heart becomes one, then Luo Ge will be 'Complete' again, and it was also said that when that time, he will become 'God of Moon' again.

Luo Ge path was blocked when he was cultivating to ascend to being an immortal, and it was revealed that he cut his 5 senses (in context of seduction), so he can be strong and logical and don't let such emotions be his weakness or something. So that's how Lu Li is created, since he is the other part of him, which Luo Ge put into the mortal realm to start his Tribulation to ascend to an Immortal.

So Lu Li and Luo Ge is one and the same. When Lu Li died, he returned to being Luo Ge, and Luo Ge, who was in seclusion all this time came out of seclusion, but he doesn't remember what happened when his other half did the human trial. Although he doesn't remember, but the feelings from when he did his trial as Lu Li still remains.

Anyways, to cut the long story short, Liu Shao(FL) is the reincarnation of the Sun God, who killed the Moon God, and she sacrificed herself to sealed his other heart into the Four Tablet/Stone (which is his dark side).

The ML (Luo Ge) is actually the reincarnation of the Moon God.

What Dark Yue said to Luo Ge in the latest episode raised a lot of questions for me personally to have me thinking about the reasons why he walked that path.

We don't know the real back history about what happened in the past; but we do know that Dark Yue isn't as heartless as those stories was passed down if you put two and two together.

This drama also teaches an important lesson about "Belief" as the core theme to this story; and one should not judge what you hear or see; but learn to believe in that person or something. I think you will see it when you watch on.

Side note, I don't know if FL will return to being the Sun God or not; but she do have the Sun Spirit / Powers inside of her; and their (Moon and God) powers do repel / influence each other due to them being Ying and Yang (still don't know how I feel about that on my end).

Sorry if I didn't really enlighten you but that's the gist of it so far. I didn't tell you Yue (God of Moon) motives, because to this day I still don't know so far, it's only been guesses so far from what I've seen and gathered.

I am also reading the novel at the moment too, but the novel and dramas are very different, so that doesn't give me reassurance about how it will play out in the end. In the Novel, Yue (God of Moon) was said that he's done something that not even heaven/earth will forgive, so I have not read any further yet to know what exactly happened, but Novel Yue seems like he did it for the greater purpose or something.

I've watched the latest episode but to be honest, I still ship her with Luo Ge on my end, as much as I also like He Na, but I don't ship them. I like He Na as a silent shipper on my end lol

It's rather ironic how he said that he wants her to be a happy immortal yet the things he's doing by harming her brother is going against what he wants for her..

Lol I meant him as Luo Ge with full memories in tact.

I see LL is the side to LG which is not bound by his responsibilities so he's free to love openly.

LG did express that he wish that and how great it will be if he was not bound by such responsibilities.

I like to see the side to LG as LG who is openly affectionate to LS, but honestly I don't see that side to him until he came to truly embrace his feelings deep down.

I don't know but that's how I see it. Of course I don't mind for some positive miracles though

Lu Li did for Luo Ge to ascend to an immortal when he came back.

But Lu Li's feelings for Liu Shao remains and Luo Ge biggest weakness right now is his love for Liu Shao. Struggling to follow the "right" path (protecting the three realms and not pursue such feelings) vs wanting to be with her and abandon what he was walking on all along.

So that's why he is going through the tribulations again to get rid of his inner demons...

He is conflicted inside but he still wants to hold onto that responsibilities in protecting the three realms... It's sad really.... I just hope that we get a positive development at the end of all this since it's hurting me to see him like this. I agree with what Luo Ning said to him though. He should live and love himself more, not sacrificing his happiness for the sake of the three realms

But what Dark Yue(God of Moon) said to him really starts to ring in me and can see why he came to be like that in the end. If my guess is correct that is... But I guess I'll wait and see.

What Luo Ning said to her brother (Luo Ge) is true... I really hope we will get to see Luo Ge openly happy without being tied down to his responsibilities.

I saw a clip where Luo Ge looks happy and affectionate towards Liu Shao, so I hope we get to see that scene later. Doesn't necessarily have to be now, it can be when he finally learn to accept and not be so tied down to his responsibilities.

Also it felt like Liu Shao has been doing the chasing all this time which is refreshing since usually it's the ML who does it. So it will be nice to see Luo Ge openly pursuing his love for her (again, this is not something I'll see until after this whole battle is over). Since he still needs to go through his own arc to rediscover himself or something.

Yeah sadly without memories but it is a fresh start for him at least. Luo Ge this time is going through the tribulation himself personally so I do think he will have full memories intact when he returns.

He also feels a sense of familiarity towards Liu Shao when he saw her as well, so I don't think it will take him long to start loving her again, I felt like this trial will not go as Luo Ge have planned since (1) God of Moon is after him and (2) I do feel that this tribulation will only make him love Liu Shao stronger than he already does.

I have mix feelings for A Fu to be honest.... He was the one who indirectly hurted his brother , if only he didn't help that bitch Bai Feng!!! She's a stupid bitch but because of your help she was able to do all that so I really don't like A Fu for helping that BF bitch!! But I do like him and Luo Ning, and how he cares for his brother He Na though so as much as A Fu annoys me and I hate that he was helping Bai Feng bitch, I don't hate him.

Episode 23 made me want to punch Bai Feng so much she's so disgusting with her delusion!!! Creepy AF!! GLAD SHES GONE!!! BUT I DOUBT THAT IS THE LAST OF HER!!! 😑😑😑

As for Luo Ge.... I think I can see where he's coming from. Not that it's something I want to see though since I just want to see him opening up to love Liu Shao since he did say when he entered Liu Shao's nightmare and has shown how much he actually loved her....

But I think I figured it out or maybe close to it.

Lu Li is the side to him that openly loves Liu Shao because he doesn't have a heavy responsibility the same way Luo Ge does...

For Luo Ge, not saying he doesn't love her because he does that's why it's hurting him so much, I think Luo Ge is the side to him who holds back because he's someone who holds a heavy responsibility in protecting the three realms and all living things. He has been taught that the moment he was born. So even when he loves Liu Shao, he feels that he needs to see through to his responsibility to the end in protecting the three realm. This is why I believe he think it was for the best if he and Liu Shao doesn't see each other anymore. But he did said that "If I don't have the responsibilities to protect all creatures in this world. And if our spiritual powers don't interfere with each other, how great that would be" <- I think that speaks for itself that is Luo Ge’s deepest wish and desires...

So this is why it left me to think that ...... The Moon God is the ‘complete embodiment’ to him. The complete side to him that is not afraid to love, not feel restricted with these heavy responsibilities of protecting all living things.

This further emphasize my theory [or belief] when his sealed darkness(Dark Yue) entered into Luo Ge, what he said to Luo Ge is kinda like teaching him that lesson that is it worth cutting off his emotions to become an immortal, you have someone you love but is afraid to love and when Luo Ge denied it, Dark Yue pointed to the spell activation on Luo Ge to show that his denial to love is an invalid point since the spell has activated. What Dark Yue said to him "What I can't escape, you can't too", "What I can't get, you can't get too"(although for this one I hope it will be different this life time), "What I have experienced, you will experience too". These questions when he said that to him, all I think of is one person (Sun of God), especially right after Dark Yue said about the love Luo Ge desperately tries to hide but cannot in front of Dark Yue because he's the side to him in the past who's been through all this is what Dark Yue is saying.. my guess anyways.

I think both the Sun and Moon God back then were gods who carry a strong sense of responsibilities where they are meant to put the protection of all living creatures (three realms) first before anything else.

I still hold my belief that Yue(God of Moon) back then isn't evil. Because we have seen in Lu Sheng flashback on how kind he was. He was also the one who changed Liu Shao fate at the beginning too.

And Luo Ge wanted to go through another tribulation on his end to fight off this darkness... But this time it's not the same as how he undergo the first tribulation because his body actually is going through this tribulation himself unlike when he did the first where his body was in seclusion. I don't think it will work out as Luo Ge have planned, but instead this tribulation will only make his experience and love for Liu Shao even stronger than he does now and when he returns as Luo Ge, he will have full memories in tact since this is different to the first tribulation he have. Oh I hope that will be the case!
But now, I am interested in seeing how this will develop and play out later. Maybe this is his tribulation to learn to openly love Liu Shao and to love without holding back. My guess anyways.

And my theory / guess was right that it was the spell created by God of Moon... I hope Luo Ge spell will be lifted in the end!!. I still want them to have a happy ending at the end of all this!

And BF bitch....Stay gone for the rest of the series if you can!!! But I doubt it.... 😑😑😑

I just don't want you to miss out the fun in experiencing this yourself thats all.

Count me in when it comes to ZBB. I mean I've seen him previously in TMOPB and although I liked him in that one too but him portraying in this drama made me really like him! Especially as Luo Ge! I hope I will feel the same when he goes dark , I know I will be angsting in those moments though 😥

I watched episode 21 and 22 again and I still cried . Yeah it's the angst. But it needs to lead to a touching moment for me to love and appreciate it lol

?? Liu Shao did suspects Bai Feng in the end.

She was the one who said it could most likely be her.

If you're talking about when all fingers were pointing at her then she need to clear her name first especially with the evidence pointing against her and that dummy immortal master being blinded by his prejudice against her. I hope that immortal master can come to his senses soon (or he at least apologize to Liu Shao or something after all that!)

I felt like "Belief" plays a core in this drama, looking at all things considered. Since it felt like a theme/message that keeps coming back as the core to this story.

Liu Shao had learned it the hard-way back then when she almost lost Lu Li, to not trust in what she sees and hears, because it may not be the truth to what's been shown. She even told Lu Li, when she found out that, no matter what she sees/hears in the future, that was her lesson back then that developed her character to someone who will believe in him unconditionally.

In the episode 22 Liu Shao directed that back to Luo Ge, and she didn't want to tell him the truth about what she did in those 3 days, even when she knows that telling him will solve the case, but she asks if Luo Ge believes in her. She wanted Luo Ge to believe in her without any evidence, but the truth is (for those who have watched the episode) it's shown that Luo Ge did believe in her, but it wasn't enough to protect her; since he needed evidence to clear her name. From this lesson/after what happened, Luo Ge also learned that(he said so himself) that no matter what happens in the future, he will stand in front to protect her no matter what. This was his lesson in what happened.

Lu Li was also given the similar test back then, when he entered into the Moon Sword and saw those "illusions" or should you say "Flashbacks" (if it did happened), he didn't believe in what he saw, and he believed in Liu Shao on his end (we all love him for that!) BUT with what I am about to say is that the thing with this whole 'belief' is, you need to know that person enough (or to an extent) to believe in that person. Belief is not something that can be given blindly imo. If you can believe in someone unconditionally, then that's really great imo! But this is not something everyone can achieve.

Now looking back to the distant past, how many years ago, in that flashback, we've also seen that the God of Sun (FL) expresses sadness and disappointment on what God of Moon has become, because he's no longer the person she once knew that has compassion for the three realms etc. The Moon God (ML) replied and told the God of Sun (FL) that no matter how much he's change, he's still him, but the God of Sun, didn't believed him back then, she only believed in what she saw with her own eyes, so their battle was inevitable. Honestly, I like to believe they were in love back then, maybe not to the same (intense) extent as they are in their reincarnated life as Lu Li/Luo Ge and Liu Shao, but I felt like this whole 'belief' is the key to their ending in this life-time. I honestly hope it will be a happy ending since they deserve a happy ending there.

If you cannot stomach the amount of hurt then I advise you to stay away some other Xianxia dramas.

The Main pairing in this one is not that bad, in terms of the one's that drags on with the hurt/heart-break IMO.

Personally for me, I don't mind the pacing, since it gets to the point and doesn't drag.
