Might as well, since I am not a fan of Jiang Wu (lol). I didn't like how he purposely provoke Mo Qing to push him further out of control. In the drama they made his character sympathetic, but by that time, I don't feel sympathy for him anymore for what he's done to Mo Qing prior to this.

Thanks for the link there, was a certain scene cut out from this fan edit? Because I remember in the original, before the final boss fight with the Gold Diety, Mo Qing lost control to his demons and became fully possessed and hurt his friends in Wan Lu Ming, and then Zhao Yao came back and told the others to leave, and then she held onto him and teleported to someplace, but then after that scene, in the original(not fan edit), we didn't get to see the possessed Mo Qing and Zhao Yao fight each other, it just got transitioned to the scene where Mo Qing was unconscious and lying on the bed, and when he woke up, he confirmed his demon essence is no more... (That part didn't make sense to me when I was watching it since I don't know what happened in between), but from the Fan Edit one, that seems to be opted out?

I see, I guess that's why the bastard of the Gold Diety came back made no sense to me, would have been best if he died back then though. But I guess, in the end, it is what it is, you either love it or hate it. For me, I don't regret watching this drama though because it made me love the actor Xu Kai more from this one but I do think the remaining episodes felt so out of place with the editing and sequence that makes it so hard to watch.

How did you know the initial script has less episodes and the producer asked to increased it?

Now, I finally understand why people (who watched it) said the editing and cutting is so crappy, because hell yeah it was, such a shame because I do love this drama and the main pairing chemistry though. I was confused with the last few episodes, especially the final episode..... but looks like (to me) there's two alternate ending based on the character choice... eitherway, to me, its a happy ending... despite I honestly wish the producers handled editing this drama with tender care in editing and cutting of the episodes without having a chunk or an entire episode missed out!!

So, people who starts on this drama, I suggest watching this in Viki since its the ONLY site I know where its the uncut version when compared to the other sites...

For me, I do love Xu Kai and Bai Lu's chemistry in this one though

Thanks, have replied to you in the message part, not sure if you can see my message though. But honestly, the whole editing and cutting online just makes this all the more hassle to watch it properly T.T I found a site where I can watch it properly, but too bad I couldn't download it though *sigh*

Thanks so much for your help with that and yeah, I got to the part where he realized its her, and that's when it starts to get interesting for me hahaha. But I have to say the editing online that I watched this from (including dramacool) was so bad omg, between the end of ep 18 and 19, there's a huge chunk that was missing.... 😭😭😭 like I was so confused and was like "wtf is going on?? Did I miss an episode or something?" Urgh.

P.S. yeah I saw your message for that instructions so I will try it tomorrow, since its getting late for me now, on my computer to see if it works for me

Oh I see, then that's not too bad. I guess I will manage haha. I just want Xu Kai to know it's her and not someone else haha. Anyways, I saw the thread that you talk about where the link to download the ending in a better sequence or something, although can't download it now since there's no seeds to download the file. So hopefully the ending for me in that drama will not be too confusing for me to go 'wtf' at it in the end.

I've watched up to ep 6 now and I don't really like how the FL have a different face, I want her to get her powers and original powers back, because I want the ML to know its her T.T from your memory did it take a long time for her to get it back? (Her original face)

WeTv for VIP as of now don't have episode 23 yet. Normal members is only up to episode 16. VIP members is only up to episode 22 because episode 23 have not been aired yet

Wow, instead of waiting for episode 23 (the torture T.T), I just found another Xianxia drama that have Xu Kai in it called 'The Legends (2019)', so I will be watching that in the meantime, LOL. Judging from the trailer, that looks interesting though!

I agree with what you said here! Kk is definitely creepy, he creeps me out with his stalkish and smile there. I felt sorry for his wife for having an unfaithful husband!

Fingers crossed here🤞🤞, this is why I rather wait for the drama to finish airing, and I did take my time to watch all 22 episodes last time, but now that I'm caught up and still no new episodes considering the cliff hanger is just too much 😭😭😭

Each to their own opinion lol. Honestly, to me, this isn't that bad, because I did enjoyed it for the 2nd leads and 2nd couple, as well as the bromance between Xue Qing Xun and Longyan. And I will re-watch their scenes (which I have been doing). But with that all said, I won't say this drama is the best also. I just don't think "it's just that bad" lol. Well ofcourse as a fan to the 2nd lead over the main lead, I want to have more screen time for them lol.
