They both worked together to uncover the truth, and I liked that BS was level headed and was considerate to not mention that part about QF that she's suspecting him through her speculation, no but hear me out, because despite we know how FY feels about QF, he still share the same mutual doubt on QF when he questioned him on his end.

It's like they both have that mutual mindset on what they see that lead to their speculation, and that on its own is just 👍 in my eyes.

You know one of the things I love about FY and BS in today's 2 episodes is...

could have made up a lie about the prediction... what he revealed has caused so many tragedies for our beloved characters. I don't know if I can forgive him for that

You know even if it was the tiniest little interaction and the way QF look at FY, I wanted to believe it is genuine but how he would plot all this is just so 💔

Bai Shuo doesn't say it out loud but I can tell that from ep 22 she doesn't really trust QF on her end. I don't blame her for feeling that way though. That actually makes me like her for it.

I dont think it is like a time loop because a time loop is reliving the events over and over again.

I see it more like in this verse there's a parallel time line where what happened in the future time like will affect the current(present time line) and your actions in the present(curent) time line will laid the path for the past time line.

But depending on which time line you're focusing on it is a parallel time line of another timeline that existed (not sure if this makes sense) maybe a parallel / alternate time line to word it.

That cave scene brought me to tears and this is also the first time I saw Fan Yue in that vulnerable state too, and the first time I saw him cry too. It's all too sad when he found out about the whole truth where he even blame himself for what happened 😭😭

FY really deserved a hug in that scene and I am glad Bai Shuo followed him to the cave and comforted him, when she gave him that hug and how he hugged her back. Its something simple yet it was really nicely done in a touching way 😭😭

And as for Qi Feng, I can understand he has a lot of hatred, which I think it is not without reason, this is why it is sad because I know FY does care about him a lot like a family but what he is going to do to FY will ultimately hurt him in the end. I am going to be honest that FY and QF scene when he woken up really made me teary, and I want to believe that Qi Feng still care about this brother of his (even if it is just that very little, but his hatred is stronger), because if he doesn't he wouldn't have carried that gift that FY gave him when they were kids all this time 🥹 even though he is using that as a plot to get closer to FY now... 😢

Qi Feng(the guy in the wheelchair) will use the bug to control Fan Yue to have him kill Bai Shuo. He wanted to torment FY to kill the woman he loves the most. I honestly am not looking forward to it... i just hope that won't be dragged out because it made me 😭 to see it played out in the trailer.

This is how I understood it.

How I understood this is similar to a parallel time line(from the future) that had already happened, so MJ in the present time was "saved" by the parallel time line from the future events that had already happened, and this affected the events from their current time line(the time line we saw), and this would also explained why he existed outside the resentment illusion, because MJ was saved by the events that had happened in another parallel timeline(future)

What happened in the current time line, where we saw FY saved the child MJ in the resentment illusion will shape this to another parallel time (to the past)

So there's like several parallel time line of the past, present and future if that makes sense.
