I watched this at the same time with the blossoming love and while the Blossoming love was engaging at first but I felt like I am kinda out of that drama at the moment.

For MM, I am completely invested even with the little side stories that can make me emotional as well.

Let's just say I can go a day without The Blossoming Love, but I cannot for Moonlight Mystique (that is the difference for my love for these two dramas) for me personally.

Tian Qi was known as the "Demon God" in ALP, and considering the Baize clan is also from the "Demon race", I think the grandfather knew about his identity. That is why he said that to Fan Yue back then "Your life is far more important than you think and far more important than the Baize clan".

This to me hinted he is not from the Baize Clan but his true identity is 'as we know' him to be.

The grandfather would keep the truth hidden from the Tiger clan about his purple eyes. I felt bad that Qi Feng was handed over by the grandfather since that was not how I imagine the backstory to be. But Qi Feng also knew that the person with the purple eyes back then was Fan Yue(judging by the trailer).

Also judging from the pv to the next two episodes, it seems his memory from the past is still intact so this will make it sad because he's doing all this now for the Cold Spring palace, his actions was his choice(with no memories being erased). I am guessing that the contemplation to the next arc might be Hatred.

I was referring to the Novel when I said that about Xuanyi and I think that is where our misunderstanding is.

Since the ending to the novel for TLI drama for Xuanyi is not the same as the novel from the glimpse of the ending I read in the novel.

But if you don't want to think it is Wu Huan for what you said then that is fine since I personally don't want it to be her too since it's twisted if that is the case.

The reason why FY grandfather gave the brother instead of FY himself is because he said to FY that his life is far more important than the Baize Clan. I think the grandfather knew FY real identity because he hid the truth about FY purple eyes and decided to protect FY instead.

I've been saying all along I have watched the ending to TLI, but it seems like you're not understanding my point from my previous reply.

Yeah i know that happened in the drama verse for TLI because I have also watched the drama to TLI.

However, the ending for Ming Qi (Xuanyi) in the drama to TLI is not the same as in the novel, since in the novel to TLI, Xuany didn't go to do the mortal tribulation from my understanding(since I took a glimpse of the ending to TLI in the novel)

So if MM was supposed to be the adaptation to its source material than it will have some way of tying back to the novel in its own way.

But I get your feelings about all this since I personally don't like the idea of Wu Huan being the one since that is so twisted, but if it is a reincarnation of someone, then that person would need to be dead to be called a reincarnation.

My understanding is whether it is Mo Li, Ming Qi or its real name Xuanyi in the novel, he's not dead. So it cannot be a reincarnation of "him" if his original being is still alive.

Yes I remember that, since Mingqi, his drama name (Xuanyi, in the novel), but are you saying that is him(CZ)?

Since I remember reading the novel, at least the start to MM, before Tianqi went to the Mortal Realm, Xuanyi is back in the god realm, thats why it leads me to doubt CZ is related to Xuanyi on my end.
