At first, he wanted to get the water stone for her without having to put her through all the danger

And in Jingyao(Fox Clan), he was about to tell her the reason why he came here for the water stone, but BS suddenly saw the visions from the stone that lead to her fainting, so that was a missed opportunity.

And then later, all the events that played out afterwards, but well in the end, he did told her the reason why.

This is why for me, I want CZ to be the catalyst to make Fu Ling a better person and not the other way around where she's making him worst by each scene.

CZ is getting annoying with each scene I am seeing him in and I am trying my best to not dislike him, but Fu Ling is too extreme, it is hard to redeem her. The thing is when it gets too much extreme it is hard for fans see her character being redeemable in the end, where Fu Ling is making him worst through her influence.

I love Tian Qi and Yuemi love story in ALP too, and seeing them getting their own story and second chance is nice so I am really hoping their ending will be a very happy one that makes fans happy for their happy ending because they've been through so much to be able to get that happy ending and they truly deserve that happy ending! ❤️

I actually don't mind the 2nd CP too but I want to see FL and CZ develop into a "better version" in my standard for me to be able to like it.

But other people in here from some of the comments I've seen have gone a bit too far when they word it like the 2nd Pairing is better than the main just gives a bitter taste in me that is not giving a positive light to the pairing they ship as the "better" ship.

In any way the writers can develop on the 2nd pairing BUT no need to take away the screentime for the main pairing because I'll cry if I don't get to see the Main Pairing scenes in an episode or their screentime is reduce to make room for the 2nd pairing 😭😭

If they have to develop the 2nd pairing than there's no need to take away the main pairing scenes IMO, especially when they are the main characters and pairing here.

It didnt make sense to me and it annoys me when I read how they said that pairing appeals to them more than the main pairing just makes me go "?!??!?!" (😅😅😅), I know we all have our own preferences and I respect that but when others tries to up their pairing to be the "better" one and look down on the pairing we love, just because what appeals to us doesn't appeal to them is what irk me so I will just scroll past those comments lol.

I think they are only saying that because they want to see screen time for Fu Ling and Chong Zhao develop -_-

But Tbh when I see those comments from those people, I will just try to ignore it and scroll past it.

It would be even better if CZ didn't insert himself in that scene 😂

I am going to be honest that the way how Tian Huo looked in that wedding dress while combing her hair, really creeped me out when I saw that scene 😢

Chong Zhao is becoming more dislikeable in each episode for me, this is my feelings if I have to be honest.

I am trying my best to not dislike him but he's not doing a very good job at it with each episode.

I was puzzled about that too since Mu Jiu was alive and existed before the events when they went into the realm of resentment.

Unless it is a parallel/alternate timeline that affected the events of this current time line, that is the only explanation that makes sense

The second pairing I was referring to in TLI is also the Fox Prince(Hong Yi) and Eagle Princess (I think it is the Eagle lol) Yan Shuang. Their developmemt was nice to watch.

Oh I was wondering about that but I think the connection is through a different generation since HongYi aunt in TLI was connected to the fox girl in ALP, where she was close friends with Feng Ran in ALP. So it is kinda mixed and jumbled up in the drama haha

But yea the fox clan does have a thing for falling in love in these stories 😂

Have fun watching TLI when that time comes. I'm also rewatching ALP on my end when I have time, since MM makes me watch ALP again to see Tianqi and Yuemi in the first half of the story and Tianqi character development in the second part of the story. I can watch it Tianqi and Bai Jue too see I love seeing how they worked together in the second part of the story.

Sangqi and Su Ningxi love story made me cry!!! 😭😭😭

I knew that what Sangqi felt for Mu Xuanling is like a kinship and while he was selfish at first but he did care for Xuanling, and I love how he didn't reveal the whereabouts of the Chaos Pearl even when he know where it is. It was his way to protect Xuanling 😭😭 and that scene/moment when Xuanling came back to see him, and how he gave her one last hug 😭😭

How can he play this character that make me love him in this drama, but hate his character in the other drama (MM), the irony...

But I honestly love Sangqi on my end and I am among those who don't dislike him, i cried in his backstory! 😭😭
