Not this quick? It's episode 28, that’s like 2/3 of the drama (there are 12 episodes left). And now everyone is panicking that this might be 36 episodes so it won’t be quick at all

I know this already from the time the drama dropped. That typa change should not be a big deal and they should have navigated it well. They could have still done this without her being the front, side, and center of the whole thing, where only the viewers and those she is close to know she is the one moving. They mask the whole flaw in that with swoon-worthy moments between the leads, which I can’t really feel cos I am thinking, "what will she involve herself in next?" I loved the show until the whole Luyang and Huixang arc. I just want them to go back to the capital, even though I know from the previews that she would stir up trouble that she is the center of like the "drum scene." Her actions make her a very easy target.

I really don't like how Xue Li is going about helping the Xues so openly. Not that I am saying she shouldn’t help, of course, she definitely should. However, I expected her to be more meticulous about it, not doing it so openly, especially since she is using someone else’s identity. Any little mistake will make the whole plan go puff (even though the plot armor favor her). Her approach doesn't make keep me at the edge of my seat but facepalming, thinking about what else she would do that will almost reveal her identity.

Ye Shi Jie actor looks like a K-pop idol. When he comes on, I can’t take my eyes off the screen. The actors in this drama are a bunch of eye candy (the casting director definitely knew what they were doing), even the emperor is fine.

@Bocai my thoughts exactly. The subs ain't bad for something they quickly did today. Decent subs may be hard to get till Sunday, especially since Tencent is gatekeeping JOL 2.

At least they try to give near okay subs that make the watch understandable. Other platforms may not even upload raw 36 episodes till the day it's supposed to end. If you think you can get decent subs today, you are definitely funny.

The empress's outfits are the best this season (I mean she is the empress). And I love the way she embodies them even though we always see her sitting and 🙄 drinking. You see the one (red and purple) she wore to see the emperor in episode 32 is especially my fave. And those 2 aren't even my fave colors. I don’t know if we will see more good outfit from her, but I am really impressed with the ones we've got so far.

The lady is always drinking. 🤣😂🤣 God know what kinda trauma is living with. Lights always on and alcohol in hand.

If you haven’t watched S2, why are you talking on S3? This was adapted from a novel with 700+ chapters, it's not surprising there will be a S3. And we already knew about this since the end of S1.

😂😂🤣🤣 🤦🏽‍♀️ You get the drill...I don't know what to say. I don't even understand how people start S2 of a show without watching the previous season (IT HAS A SPECIAL EDITION TOO), especially with JOL being very plot heavy.

Bai Qian was 90,000 years older than Ye Hua. When she was living life and ascending, Yue Hua was still a lotus flower. I can’t take people who talk about age gap in a fantasy/immortal universe serious.
