11: It is one of those wholesome episodes. I enjoyed their conversation about the truth spell. Arthur Chen really brought the emotions cos I could feel what he was feeling when she told him how uncomfortable the truth spell makes her. You could see how he finds it ridiculous that he is doing that, but can't help it, cos he needs to know the truth. However, he still feels he shouldn't have done it. His acting there was so good. They didn't make him stoic and just sit to listen; instead, he dropped his head like 3 times, scoffed, looked at her...it was a myriad of expressions.

As much as I understand her, it was fun hearing her say the truth. Haha...how did that young man with a receding hairline think we would believe he ain't in his 50s.

12: Uhhhhmmm...what can I say? I dreaded watching this one cos I knew what was coming. Though I feel sad for Yan Huan, I think it is good that he killed himself. Sometimes, release is the best option. He is a ticking time bomb. If they stop him now, there is a high chance he would do it again in the future, and they won't be there to at least help or talk some sense into him.

Shi Qianlv is an animal. I need his retribution to hit him hard. I cried when Grandmaster came out of the mountain, bloodied. And his convo with Ting Yan. Ruling needs to go. Same with Snake. I never liked him, tbh.

Lol. The drama slump is so crazy for me right now. This drama came to shine the light on me. It ticked all the boxes.
- Fantasy costume drama
- Comedy
- Witty dialogues
- FL that I can actually enjoy (she doesn't need to be a strong FL)
- Powerful ML that is actually powerful
- Leads with great chemistry
- Sensual scenes, especially in this genre (it is hard to get good romance)

He doesn’t let her in fully but keeps her in the know. She knows he is on a revenge mission, but she doesn’t know the detail and the hows of the mission.

I like that actually. Also, the reason why I said Master and Servant is because of the earlier episodes. Though, he is much calm, she still has that servant nature. Maybe it comes with being a corporate slave in the modern world.

Very annoying. She makes it hard for me to even care about her mission. It’s so bad that I even fast forward her scenes with Mr. Snake.

No amount of sob story will convince me she isn’t stupid. The least she could do is ask LTY for help to use Sima Jiao. Even though SJ doesn’t wanna, if her reason is valid, I am sure LTY will convince him. With more hands on deck, things will love forward.

Yes…he truly is an antihero that does the work and not just talk and talk. I can feel his pain and get behind his revenge.

I wish I can do this but I wanna wait for tomorrow’s eps and watch all 4 together.

From the moment he had eyes for Ruling, I disliked his character. I have previously commented on here and even on X that I hope his character doesn’t give them problem. It seems that is coming to pass.

You don’t hate them as much as I do. Like you are not the only victim. The best strategy is to band together to get your enemies like the 8 sect masters instead of betraying like rats.

He is gone.

I hope it is not a dream or illusion. From the trailer, it doesn’t seem so 🤞🏽. They both have that morning after glow, if you know what I mean.

He is the one that actually fits the fantasy drama look. His aura is enough to convince me he is a grandmaster. I don’t need him to look overly made up with sword-like brows to feel his majesty.

ADWAD is even better. At least, we can argue that some of the plot is driven by the screenwriter who makes sure everything stays within the plot. Though, I hated how the ML forgave everyone so easily, including his father (the emperor).

The FL I would bring in is the one in Love Between Fairy and Devil. She didn't understand much and kept getting in trouble. She didn't try to understand why they need to be together all the time and that the moment they catch her, she is dead. I just rolled my eyes when she gets into her antics. And the ML there just kept talking about taking revenge, yet, everything turned out lackluster. He was also so whitewashed to the extent I started asking myself what his ambition is exactly

As much as I love Mr. Snake, he trusts people too easily. I am worried it would bite him/them back in the future. It's a pity they didn't let us see the FL's initial reaction to his transformation.

At this rate, Sima Jiao is gone...hehe. Mans can't do anything without her. Though she has her own luggage, she is his luggage.

I am loving this one so far. EVERY Ep is a hit...haha. My girl just wants to live. She is so relatable cos I would do the same, try to survive, eat, sleep, and hug the big thigh that is Grandmaster Sima Jiao.

I totally love how she is written. She is calm and willing to learn, instead of yapping, butting in, and trying to insert herself into everything. I swear, this couple will turn out to be my fave if the tempo continues like this. Chen Feiyu also does his thing. He doesn't need to convince me he is majestic, I just know he is. That Aura is something I haven't seen from any so-called 'lord' I have watched in recent times.

Again, their chemistry is outta here. The way, I keep watching the trailers and OST videos cos they really pull me in.

Okay, that last scene was good.

The only thing I gate in this series is Hee-joo's mum. She is so tactless and ignorant to the extent I wanted to yank her damn hair. Even I-na who I thought would be a pain in the neck ended up being what a family looks like. And even gave information on what she knows and has been helpful since her return. Just love the fact that HJ told her word what I had been meaning to tell the damn mom before her death (kidnap). Like you didn’t do anything for me in this life except gaslight tf outta me.

Ahhh...I hope they dedicate between 30 - 45 mins in the final for us to see him do all the things he has to do for her and make her happy, not just the last 5 mins like they always do.

Again, I thoroughly enjoyed the episode!!!
