Youku is probably the best in raising up the anticipation for their currently airing series. I also need that cooling period cos as much as I want to see the ending fast, I also do not want the drama to end.

Whoever directed the series did so well making a series that is so easy to watch.

Shi Qianlv definitely overestimated his cards with LTY, especially since she thinks she is in the body of his original daughter. Therefore, she had no grudge to settle. Plus, she feels now that they have forbidden love, so it’s likely she would play along till he triggers her like in the preview trailer. would have been better if she didn’t think so, she would want to kill SJ since he destroyed her clan.

I used to really watch ongoing dramas. Sometimes when so many dramas are airing around the same time of different platforms like now, I would watch most or some of the ongoing ones. However, I stopped that earlier this year. I think it kinda helped since I can just binge watch after reading reviews, especially of the ending. I don’t mind sad ending, but don’t just throw one in for the sake of it, especially if the source material has HE. It is disrespectful to the viewers.

It also kinda helped me since the rate of dropping drama reduced. If a drama isn’t my thing after it finishes airing, I just don’t watch. I only started this one on a whim and it immediately got me hooked. It took me back to the time I watched SOKP cos I followed that drama religiously and was excited like now. But for Youku, once they get to climax, they love cooling down the releases. I kinda find them cute cos they would spoil you with preview clips. Back from the Brink era was another crazy one. We would beg for new Ep, while Youku would post spoilers of the next few episodes to increase anticipation. And everyone would start cussing them out cos ‘why are they spoiling their own show so much.’ It is fun, tbh.

Now, the dramas don’t unusually fit the hype so I stay clear.
